Epic FAIL for me at Import Faceoff.

I've never launched the car on the new setup and didn't want to in fear of breaking another axle. I figured I'd wait to mess around with launching at KCIR since I'll have a tow with me. I refuse to run a 2 step on the stock valvetrain. 1st run, I tried to launch at 5k. Bogged horrib-*******-ly. 1st gear was nonexistent. My eight mile time was 8.6@86mph. My 1/4 mile time was 13.7@120mph. I was laughing the whole way back from the ticket booth.

Second run, I did my burnout. Went up to the tree and tried to launch at 6k. Clunk. There goes another axle. FML

To top it off, my buddies dually that towed me down had a tire blow out and he didn't have the tool to lower the spare tire down. We limped it to a truck stop with a State Patrol officer escorting us. We borrowed a guy's tool who was getting gas and got the spare down.
