What's your exhaust again? I'm trying to convince a coworker to do the same on his RCSB Silverado. But he's got the 5.3..going to sound very different? He said he's waiting on a system from MBRP, which I dont think Ive ever heard of..

Full custom wiring harness allows quick disconnecting of lights.

Only ever had one problem with the drivers side light fogging - was a torrential downpour with 70mph winds, had to pull off the road. When I got home, I noticed a slight fogging in it. Not sure where the moisture came in from, must be somewhere on the back of it judging by the way the rain was hitting it. I'll pull them off the car when I head back to KC on the 30th and get some pics of them off the car.

I have over $500 in parts on these. I spent literally 100's of hours working on them trying to get them aimed correctly. The drivers side could be aimed a little further to the left, but I think it's just me being nit-picky. Rotationally they are aimed perfectly, and the stock raise-lower functionality still works. Honestly, I haven't been impressed with the aiming of most retros on this site.

I've had them on the car now for over a year. IIRC, you shouldn't have to alter your factory wiring at all. Simply mount the ballast under the headlight. Plug in the retro's to the factory headlight plug. Plug in the ballast to the retro using the quick disconnect I installed, and mount the headlight. No trimming required.

I feel pretty special running a 13.6 @ 103 tonight. I think that might be just about all she had innher with these tires. Launches were good pulling 2.1 60s but shifting to 2nd was rough all night. I would get a little wheel hop and spin a bit. Would like to see what I could run with DRs.

Now I gotta take off my trans mounts and H/E to sell them Sunday. going stock us gonna suck.
