so can anybody help me out on tinting my front windows? i bought the tint and tried it myself.. didn't work out too well.. pm me if anybody can do it for me? also will tip..

 

ive tried it as well, and it didnt work one bit lol. im just gonna get a pro.


on the other hand, my gen 1 projos are in and so are the h1 bulbs so if anyone isnt busy and would want to help me since i have zero idea of what im doing lol, it would be super appreciated

thats how you learn lol. everything i know how do to ive just said **** it and tried it and learned. my a pillar guages were worse though

 

ok i cant get the HID to light up. it flashes but then goes right out. anyone know what to do? or if you could come over itd be awesome, ill give you anything you want to drink lol

 

Check the ground.

 

both the black wires plug into the ballast and i re-grounded my other wires but still nothing

 

Is the ballast box grounded well? I believe I have heard that these need to be grounded really well, or you will have issues.

 

like should i mount the ballast first? i just have it sitting there not attatched to anything

 

Give that a shot. IDK, I have never messed with HIDs. Doesn't make my car go faster and adds weight, so its not up my alley, lol.

Meh, Matt O did his, and they work great and the install is clean.

 

if it just flickers and goes out, you could have a bad ballast. could you take a pic of how you got it wired?

 

so im pretty sure its not the HID's that are the problem. the low beams dont work when i had the HIDs in the projo's, the regular bulbs in the projo's and when i put my old lights back in the driver side low beam doesnt work. I think its because i didnt plug in this one harness but i have no idea what it goes to. its lime green in color, any idea what its for?
