Did I hear something about spoiled rich kids?
On that note... what tires should I get? Kinda wanna get the NT05's again, but I would like to get more than a year out of them.

are you looking for a daily tire or a track tire? if you wanna go with a daily tire i like the bridgestone re-11s,bfg kdw's and the dunlop star specs.

like i said their work sucks for people that go in there on a budget and try building a car without doing it the wrong way. they will just slap parts on your car and not give a **** weather or not it blows up instead of guiding you in a direction you should be going in.
like i said if you have deep pockeys to pay their 104 dollar an hour mechanical and fabrication rates by the ams book hour then by all means get work done their. if you try skimping out i wouldnt count on good work from them.
i dont really believe in looking at shop cars as a mile marker for work thats done on customers cars either. like i said they dont nickel and dime on shop cars because they are show casing their shop. theres a reason you dont see your average ethusiast guys or typical guys that want a badass fast ride trying to top ams's turbo builds. its simply because no one can afford to build them right and keep them from blowing up.

lol strictly modified thats all i will say. again....thats one shop ive heard more **** talking about then good things about but ive also seen some fast cars come out of there. idk how long they last but it is what it is.
like i said when it comes to ams ive only heard **** talking come out of the people that have less expensive cars such as the srt4, cobalts(even thought they build nothing for them),some dsm's and so forth. they screwed me over when it came to the cobalt so apparently my time and money wasent good enough because the car doesnt costs over 30000. ive seen inside and out of that shop first hand.
as for the whole dsm thing......if you own a dsm you know the cars are money pits because they break all the time lol.
moral of my whole point with ANY shop. if you want to go fast remember this..."fast,reliable,cheap" put 2 together and you dont get the other one. like i said theres a lot of good shops in the area. but just because they build badass shop cars and break records doesnt make them THE BEST. the way they handle their customers cars aswell is what is key ffor me. most shops just will take your money and give you the list of parts you want and who cares if your cars going to blow up. then theres other shops who will guide you in the write direction and take time to go over things with you to build you car right and bring you to the real world of how expensive cars are.
my camaros a perfect example. 25.5 race car. i have 30 grand tied into the suspension, safety and drivetrain alone and i havent even finished the paint and engine yet. theres one good reson for it. i dont want the car blowing up after 50 passes and ive done extensive research on various setups. its an extreme build but the same principle will apply to any build.

Hmmm, so... I think I might be feeling something different. Might be getting outta the balt, and getting a different toy. The only thing I like about the balt right now is the fuel mileage.

thanks for the cage compliments everyone. thats been my project for the last 2 years. its a never ending money pit but in the end it will all be worth it. nothing says lets go fast like a 555 big block chevy with a 106mm percision turbo lol. when i get my turbo back from persicion i should take a pic next to the k04 that came off my car hahaha.
yeah i seen a orange cobalt the last 2 days in the morning on north ave going west right before 355. orange car i believe a low rise or wingless black rims with a polished lip. is that anyone on here?

Any Room For an HHR SS Guy?
I might be interested in going to this meeting in Downers Grove Tomorrow
BOBIROC - 2008 HHR SS/TC
I got referred to www.chicagoecotecs.com from a friend that had his Stage Kit installed on his Cobalt SS at Rockenbach Chevy yesterday. I also had the stage kit installed on my HHR at Rockenbach that I purchased from Crate Engine Depot. Good people up there at Rockenbach.
