friday the 17th - meet up, check into a hotel/motel, whatever you so desire. meet up for dinner, car clean up, cruise. meet n greet blah blah

saturday - dyno day, super chevy show, dinner.

sunday - WOF.

But it sounds like it would be fun, and maybe do-able with enough planning ahead of time. 7 hour drive to Columbia wouldn't be that bad.

 

i was just thinking of something more centralized for everyone. once i get more people who ar willing to do this, and not flake out at the last second, id be willing to do something in a different location, but thats the best i could come up with.

 

i'd join in from MN if i got a place to crash.

and depending on what weekend it is.

 

this will most likely end up being two months out. if it is columbia, there is some cheap rooms out there

plus bars, and some curvy roads n stuff.

 

we would have to do this after august 19th so i could actually go to the bars

columbia would be good. anywhere really. im down for some long distance driving

ANYWAYS.

this will most likely be towards the end of august, early september.

the only bad thing is, there isn's a drag strip in columbia. nearest would be ozark, right outside of sedelia. kc, or st louis.

im sure some people would want to do some sort of "racing" so thats why the idea was thrown in there.

Just throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks, but autocrossing is a blast in my opinion.

 

im not scared of your car, im just waiting for all my parts to come in and then everyone will fear my car.

i still need a 2.7 pulley, sway bars, rotors and pads, downpipe, strut tower bar...and uh...i think ill be done after that for a while. save up some money and do some head work

 

im down for this. Tell me a time and date and ill be there. Drag/auto would be fun, although i most likely wont drag unless i have some kinda after market suspenion mods to reduce wheel hop.

 

After Aug 19 is perfect, by then I WILL have my exhaust replaced, and the car tuned out by someone...Keep my posted for sure, Local isn't a major deal...Just give me enough notice, cause I work on Saturdays every now and again, and I want to ensure a free weekend. This sounds like it could seriously be fun, and I'm all in.

 

If it's after August 19, I might not be able to make it. College starts erm... the 27th (I think), and with that comes having every weekend taken over by play practice. Not to mention I won't be able to get in the bars anyways, since I'm 20.

If it is after the 19th-ish, if it's closer to Iowa(where I go to college) I could make it, depending on the weekend. I get one or two off in late September.

So my vote is before late August, or later in September at a location closer to Iowa. hehe.

well, start throwing idea's out guys, like i said im open for anything. location isn't that big of a deal for me. we can have this in columbia, kc, st louis. doesn't matter. it doesn't have to be after the 19th. id rather have a big group of people who are willing to go out and have fun!

let me look at the schedule and see what is going on. i will have a set date in a couple days.

Kansas City would be cool. That's a fairly easy drive from my college.

 

im also down for anywhere. i just wanted to be 21 so i could get in the bars. but then a big meet/hotel party would be awesome too lol.

i've never autocrossed before... love to do that sometime. but for some reason, why do i feel like i would need to take a class first

i think it'll probably end up being more of a meet at location A, we'll find a good lookin road with twisties to drive down, and then maybe hit the racetrack later in the day or something?? i dunno.

in fact im lookin for a big windy road right now...

all the good ones look like they're pretty much not in columbia

theres a few to the north west and a few to the south and they look looooong and pretty curvey
