Seeing that most of other states and/or cities have their own thread, I was surprised not seeing one for us Chicagoland peeps (at least not recently), there are only random threads here and there. Chicago area is huge and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of members that we may not know of, not only in the city but in the suburbs as well.

Sooo I decided to give it a try and start an official thread in which current and new members can introduce themselves, chat, share experiences, show their cars, updates on meets, track days, Chicagoland events, etc., etc. This way, we can get to know each other a lil bit more before doing big or smaller meets instead of showing up and not knowing most of the members there . Post links to other threads if you wish too.

So post up, talk about anything you want (just keep it clean and safe for work). Cobalts, Ions, HHRs, everyone is welcome!! I'll introduce myself after some peeps post and to keep original post clean.

 

Well I will be the first to drop in and say hi then =D. Technically I don't live in chicago but I am down there on business all the time. I work as a tuner, so if anyone in the area needs a tune let me know. If you come to me I can do it for an extremely reasonable price, if I drive out there it's still a great price + gas =D. I tune both lsj's and lnf's too.

Ya man that car pulls hard! Once you upgrade to 60lbers and a 2.8, possibly get some meth we will retune you and you will be putting down some really decent numbers. I am shooting for over 300 on the m62 when my motor is done being built =D.

 

once i get my full exahust and 2.4 intake mani im gonna get you to tune me zach but the hard part is finding a dp for my danm header!

 

just so you know that code that came up on my car was p0172 fuel is running to rich like you told me its the injectors then did you ever check out my post about you zach

Oh sweet! Ive questioned how many ss's were running around. Ive seen many base cobalts with ss badges, and body parts. But not many real ss's. We need to arrange a parkinglot meet one evening. I bought mine 3 weeks ago...needs a new hood already, a truck tire blew up, and sent a huge chunk right at my hood. The insurance is fighting me on it. Oh im in Glendale heights btw! My dads gotta HHR ss, so im sure he would come out too.

You mean LNF. HHRs and other cars got the kit first way before the one for Cobalt came out

 

Yeah the HHR Solstice and Sky stage kits came out last december and that's when I got mine installed.

 

Well I don't know anyone on this forum personally, but I've been to almost every CED meet and try to turn up to the other meets when I can. My name is Juan, and I live on the SouthWest side of the city, right by 55th and Kedzie. I drive a 05 black sedan, with some basic mods (pretty much done with the car cuz I'm looking to get a 510).
