The park I am thinking of is not Rock Cut State Park but if it is that close to a track it sounds like if might be a great place for us if it is big enough??

What park were you thinking of?

Depending on where the meet is held(Downtown vs Suburbs) it's 90 mi from Downtown and 60mi from Gurnee. So it's further but on the interstate thats only about an hour drive.

I've never actually been to that particular strip but I hear it's a good grippy track.(people tell me they run .3 faster at Byron over what they run at Cordova).

 

I might be down if it is close enough. I live 5 mins away from Rockcut State park. That would be nice to have it there. I have never actually been to the Byron Dragstrip, but you can here it at the golf course in byron lol. There is a dyno tune shop called Euro Tech about 5 mins away from the park. I have never gone there but i am pretty sure they have a dyno. And the park is litterally right off of I90.
