That is actually me sorry about that. was a little excited when i posted.

 

there are 2 dyno's about an hour north of CED.... I've been to the one, it was some dyno day thing they did for $30 bucks a car for 3 runs, I was not impressed because I don't think the dyno was calibrated correctly, they were just thrownin' cars up there, FWD right to RWD.... it just didn't seem right.
This could be rectified is it was just an FWD Cobalt/Ion dyno day at that shop????

The other place I've heard good things about, but I've never been....
get me the # of people who would want to dyno, the day we would be going and I'll be happy to try to work a deal w/ either place????

I just don't want to be responsible for 40 peeps saying they're gonna dyno.... we get a deal and only 25 peeps have the $$$$ to do it the day of the event.... I live up here and don't want to F-up my reputation

I could just get you the #'s and you could work the deal?????

How many tolls will we encounter coming from the north?
How much do toll's cost?
How highway patrol & police in Illinois?

 

1. Not sure, a few I'm guessing

2. .80 cents, .40 if you have an i pass.

3. PSSSH. Easy as hell to spot, you all should be ok.

 

Illinois State Police are usually pretty cool to deal with and they are easy to spot up the road.

Again anyone comming from the south that wants use my house as a pit stop/meeting place just let me know, the more the better!

 

I think there are 3-4 tolls from the border of WI & IL to CED.
First one cost $1.50, and the last few are $1.00 or less.
On I-94 there is really no place for cops to hide so we can move at a pretty good pace.

 

I disagree.... Illinois stateys and locals (at least up here) are very sneaky and have some very nice hiding spots on the interstates and local roads.... they ARE also equipped w/ instant-on radar. I have been let off with a warning (more than a few times), but recently got nailed for a lousy 7 mph over up in Gurnee I really was not even trying to speed. I just was not paying attention...
I know he felt bad about giving me a ticket, but it's about revenue nowadays and ZERO tolerance.
I was able to do driving school and must be good now, as I am on probation for 1 year w/ DMV
Speeding can be done.... just pay attention and be aware of where they may be hiding

hey Tyler.... I take I-94 into the city and there are a few spots where do they hide....
the ON ramp at the Lake Forest Oasis, a few turn around spots in the middle of I-94 and there is a spot just before Lake-Cook road off to the right.... just before the I-94 split to 294 and the I-94 spur

but if you keep your eyes peeled, you can run down that portion of I-94 at about 90 mph + in exception for the spots I mentioned above

 

ISP are jerks down here.

 

Damn I guess I live in the good area for ISP. They do set up speed traps on I57 normally south bound on sundays between exits 315 and 322 with a trooper sitting on top of an overpass with a radar. Besides that they are not sneaky in my parts and all seem to be pretty cool.

well i was thinking about 20 cars tops. if there more, great. but when i was makin emails, i said 20 tops.

3 dynos plus tuning for 15-20 cars can take quite awhile.
