haha its my last day in my old position. I transfer and start as supervisor next week! Im still at the unbelievebly slow and boring location with no work to do.

I have posted about it in response to other people's threads...
Don't freak out...its not a big deal and I'm not a weirdo...haha
I have leukemia so every couple months I have a day of tons o blood work. Awesome. I hate needles.

I get bone marrow biopsys done every 3-6 months and every 1-3 months I get blood draws where they check CBC's, "copies" of molecular levels...I dont really understand the medical terms haha
I just figured you did cause I have posted about it in responses to threads and I always feel like its a scarlett 'C', once you drop the 'cancer' word you're automatically labeled as "that" girl. Gross.

bone marrow biopsy... thats gotta hurt. do you have to do any blood transfusions or anything? (i don't know much about this, wrong side of the medical field

yea biopsys suck. right now i take chemo in a pill every day.
discussing doing a full transplant but mentally im not there yet. Im doing really well so Im too scared to do that (8-10% chance of not living....too high for me)

WBC getting too high. My blood's on speed and will just go nuts making cells if i didnt take the meds

its my last day as the receptionist. Just the usual, answer phones, book apts., check people out, kiss members ass's, fix all the errors the other girls make cuz I freakin rock. haha

i work up here at the mayo clinic (only reason why i live in this god forsaken town)
the lab i work in does testing for genetically inherited diseases at a molecular level, basically looking at single base changes or small deletions within the gene of interest.
so when you called me a nerd about 40 pages ago... you kinda hit that right on
