SuburbanRobot and I will be looking for cruising opportunities with minimal\no tolls to be paid. Oh and before I forget I need to get those maps for avoiding tolls whilst coming and going to the event....I know I fail

^ i tried setting up a dyno last year but all the places around the area weren't open on the weekends.
plus, if this goes anyhting like last year, most out of state peeps won't get in till 3-6pm on friday, we'll be spending all day saturday at CED (w/ cruise) and then most of us have to be out by 10-11am on sunday... no really good time frame to dyno unless you're local.

i have hotel information in the works. i'll be getting stuff set up @ the holiday inn express in libertyville, IL (77 west buckly road). i was told by the front desk that rates per room will be 89 - 109 per night (rooms will have accomadations for 3 people) and i'll be setting aside 10 rooms (it's about as much as we had last year). i won't have this set in stone until tomorrow when the manager calls me (she wasn't in when i called). so, updates tomorrow!

I would highly recommend this Hotel to stay. It's cheaper than Gurnee's Holiday Inn and the KeyLime resort; it is a newly built hotel, the parking lot is huge, there is an empty lot right next to the hotel where everybody can hang out without being bothered; there's a McDonald's, Jimmy John's, Chilli's, Denny's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Chinese place, and Starbuck's; ALL within a walking distance.

SpeedQuest had a dyno days a while back and that was on the weekend.... that's maybe 20 min's east of Rockentwat
