Saturday nights the McDonalds across the street has Muscle Cars and they will overflow into the Circuit City parking lot (correct?).... so there will be plenty of cars

 

If everyone wants to.. Cruise down to waukegan, head south thru downtown after hitting the beach, drive thru North Chicago, around waukegan, endless possibilities..maybe lake forest? there's a three mile long segment of sheridan road that is ALL fucken curves.. s curves, etc. VERY NICE.

 

The S curves are nice but road is bumpy and holes everywhere...bad for lowered cars

want a good cruise...we jump on i-94 south towards chicago and cruise threw downtown..stop by soldier field for a quick photoshoot and then we go by the shed for a good view of the whole downtown and some more pictures and then we can hit up lake forest or something else...for the pictures ill say about 8pm or so...anything before that is gay since there is alot of ppl walkin around and stuff..

 

I don't know about the Waukegan area???? I recently moved up here

Soldier field is to urban.... too much city traffic ....

I'm thinking a route into Wisconsin maybe???
Is there anything good along the Lake up into kenosha/racine??
and lunch at the Brat stop???

Or west??? I think I recall a few turns and some elevation change???
we should try to iron this out before the meet...

everyone calls it "the strip" and it's a long strip of pavement with gravel along the rocks at the lake..

nother location a mile or two up sheridan north from that loc.



i'm going to support the idea of brat stap if i can get in, i'm only 18.

 

no traffic by soldier field around 9ish or so.i work right accross soldier field and i can watch the bears game from the 30th floor in my building and can see everything when i go higher in floors.so im not worried bout traffic on a saturday evening by soldier field.also keep in mind the i-94 is bein repaired from lawerance-lakecook rd,so 15+cobalts stuck in traffic looks badass...hahhahaha

 

i refuse to drive in the city. let's keep this within 25 miles of the meet. i don't got enough funds for that kind of gas with this car.

 

lol... a meet isnt always man... there is no problem wasting a little money when people are having a good time or when people meet up?? i mean u cant possbly be wasting more gas then my friend with his blue sti....

Oh and that road pictured above is right by house, that road is too busy for what we want and way to bumpy, im talking 15mph slow. And Id like to get out of Wisconsin for a change. Let me know.

 

So let's keep this local. Let's all figure out where we're gonna head out from the meet.. long as it's not 40 miles or more away i'll be fine. working 20 hours a week, i can't really afford *that much* gas, which is why i'm setting this up close.

every time i've been up there, even on july fourth, it was managable.it doesn't have to be that exact place, but i know that the speed limit on Kennedy Drive is 15.

there's also this nice parking garage i know of that usually never has cars .. (usually slim to none) on the roof.. bright white cement.

don't forget about all these other forums coming out as well.involved, too. . we need to all discuss this when we meet up so everyone's on the same page with what we're gonna do that day. The meet is to square us all up at one area for the beginning of the day. it'll be a small compromise with over 15 possible show-ups that day, but we will be able to do good stuff that day.

 

I forgot to mention that they closed kennedy drive for the season already, so thats a no go.

 

they had it open in january of '07 when i was there with my ex..oh well


yeah i'm pretty sure we'll get something going the day of the meet.
