Spotted on 90 east in Chicago, just after where 190/294 join. Red SS/SC, highrise with black inserts, tinted tails, tinted windows, exhaust. You exited at Nagle, I believe.

I was in the black SS/SC next to you. I'm on strict orders from my tuner to not rev it and make pulls until he retunes me again, so I couldn't do anything.

 

I spotted someone too. Can I hijack your thread? I saw a black '08-'10 with blacked out wheels and Hahn stickers in the rear side windows. Exhaust was definitely aftermarket. I was in the red one next to you on 94 headed south. You got off at Half Day Rd. Who you is?

 

Of course, that's why the thread is here. In the past people have just made a new thread, which is hard to people to randomly find. Figured if we had one dedicated thread going, might be easier to actually figure out someone.

 

in! i haven't seen this red one you speak of, but in carol stream area i've seen a blacked out orange one a few times... around army trail/gary ave. also a murdered out s/c

 

I've got a black LS with pink badges and black rims in my parents neighborhood . I saw a blacked out TC with high rise on 294 south. Saw a black sc stock looking near 127th. And sOmeone has blacked out HHR at pep boys on Cicero .

 

Where is your parents neighborhood? Sure the "LS" with pink isn't me? Granted the rims part doesn't match up, but my stockers are so dirty they probably look black if you saw me while driving.

I saw a Black TC (I think) near campus (NIU) the other day, and there is a Yellow SS (Sport) that I see all the time too. There is also a Red SS (Sport) that always parks about the time I walk into class at Kish. Is this anyone on here? (I'm not driving mine right now though)

 

spotted yellow ss driving westbound on 90 today around ehhhhh maybe 230-300 inbetween the marengo exit and belvidere exit, you looked at my yellow ss driving the oposite direction

 

That was me silver ss. I was going out to the machine shed to eat.

 

I've seen a yellow SS/SC black wheels between Antioch and Gurnee all the time.....in my apartment complex, Verizon in gurnee, and this morning parked outside Dunkin Doughnuts in Gurnee on Grand by six flags...

Also Blue SS/SC in Antioch.....guy works at Menards.....

And....lol....I often see a Blue Redline on Hunt Club road between Gurnee and the Wisconsin border....

I always see a black TC on parked in a drive on Meacham, south of Higgins in Schaumburg. Also see another black TC pretty loud around same area but i think its different. Then a silver SC on Algonquin and Meacham pulled a little bit then lane merged.

i was in the stock looking black LS but was making turbo noisezzzz

Spotted at Grand and Mannhiem around 1:30, going east on Grand. I was with a friend, not in the Cobalt.

Red SS, believe it had TC wheels. Wingless. White Chevrolet sticker by the drivers fog light.

Its alright out here. In carpentersville there is a pretty good get together. On every thursday. Doesnt start til the weather gets good. We also have strats in villa park. i go to car shows around the area with my dad. He has a 1985 IROC camaro. We are currently swapping in a 350. it has a 305 rite now.

 

I've been to the one in Carpentersville once, but it was in like October so it was slow. Seemed ok. Saw a guy on a bike dump it when he hit loose gravel while taking a corner too quick.

Oh Strats. It's at least good for a laugh and something to do on the weekend. Nice little cruise out there from the city, which is nice.

We're still trying to get Chicago Ecotec going again. Had about 20 people at last meet's dinner meet.

This month we're going to the Chicago Auto Show on Thursday Feb 16th at 7pm. Tom@CED can get us free tickets to get in, and we're still working out the details for a cruise/carpool to save money on parking.

 

I can never go to the chicago ecotec meets. They are always during the week and i have to work the next day. Otherwise i would go.
