Should have just handed the site over to someone else instead of shutting it down. There was a lot of info on the site that was still in use. There were people on the site that we now have no way of contacting. There are people who would have taken it over, you should have talked to someone before just throwing it away...

Jacob, I'd say start it up and hand it over to AJ. I think it would be the best option and also you could still be involved. We just now started using the forum a lot more.

I understand you wanting to move on, but just think it was selfish, not letting other s know, that still have an interest. Plenty of ppl would have stepped up to pay for the site. Let us know if the site is back up, etc. Heck, Ryan (QWK LN2) said he would have paid for it, but you didn't give anyone a chance. Just common courtesy in my opinion.

I know he didn't want the lts. the guy who bought them is gonna put the catted hpipe up for sale since he doesn't need it on his 04. if your buddy cares about saftey inspection that is lol.

 

Not quite sure. I rarely talk with him. I spoke with Ryan and he is also going to help set up the site. I also see the site helping him tune more cars which will help him out. I hope to learn from him on tuning. I'll then buy HP Tuners. We are still on for Thursday out at AJ's. Might get out there in the afternoon if ok with AJ.

 

Did Jake have a backup of the old forums? If so, you should be able to copy it over, if not, then it's a clean start.............

Yes sir. Thanks to Jaxon, we will have a local board again. I bought the domain and he has extra space available and his setting up the rest. Really, he is doing all the work and would like to thank him for it.

 

No problem, I put up a temp board before I goto work at http://forums.theyowells.org until I get the DNS stuff all worked out and setup better. The link may not work yet, has to wait for the DNS to click.

No not a dick move, i moved out into a new apartment...Never even checked the site at all. I put all my time into my new car now. Before anyone says mean things to me, i put in the most time with the LSJ scene around st.louis when i owned my car, i set up all the meets etc around here. So before people start bashing me please remember the stuff i was involved in with this community.
