What time on the 4th are you guys leaving to go up there? Me and the wife may go depending on what time you are leaving on Friday.

 

Hey im going up Friday night after i get off work at 5 or 6??? I might be able to get off alittle earlier. What time would you and your wife be able to leave?

 

Would we go up Friday morning or Friday night?

 

My wife should be off work that friday, I am wondering because I need to know whether to trya nd get the day off work or not. I usually get off work at 4PM, however I can always skip out a little early and nobody is going to say anything. I would need to go home to get the wife then leave, so it would be around 5PM or so. Of course then we might as well stop to get something to eat ont he way out of town because you will get stuck in traffic crossing into IL around 5PM, so I figured eat about 5PM and then get on the road by 6PM or 6:30PM that would put us in Chicago about 10PM or so. Now, I could take the day off and leave in the afternoon or morning as well, that is why I was wondering what time everyone was planning on leaving. Of course I have to run it all by the wife and see what she has to say as well....

 

Hey well i can get out of work at 5:00 on Friday.....I was wondering if everyone just wants to meet at 5:30-6:00 then head on to chicago, and we will be there by 10:00, check in to are hotels then go cruise with everyone or do whatever.

 

Hey Jake you guys know it does take more then 4 hours to get to Chicago from STL? Its more like 5 to 5 1/2 hours. I used to live close to Chicago, and it was along drive to STL from there. I might be going but just haven't made up my mind yet.

 

No way it is 5 to 5 1/2 hours. I used to live in Schaumberg which is like 10 minutes from where the hotel is at, and I used to drive from there to STL in 4 hours IF I took my time and drove slow. With all of us going and if we don't have to stop at every rest stop on the way we can easily make it in 4 hours.

 

I gotcha, I think you were talking about a different way. I lived in Danville, IL. and that was 3 hours from STL and 2 hours from Chicago. But If you ran 55 all the way there it would take 4. I-55 right? I was going down 57 then taking 70 in to STL. That would be the long way.

Okay i wont be in the room hardly at all, and when i smoke i can go outside if need be, o'ya and we got another guy staying with us (nramlow2006). I think are room is booked up now, there are 4 of us staying in it.

it is 89, its different than what they have online because i got us a block of rooms reserved. you still need to make a reservation on the room, but in order to get the reduced price, you have to reserve one of the rooms in the block set aside.

also, for you guys that have a room already, please PM me and let me know if you are holding a room and who's in it or if you are just staying with someone (and don't have the room under your name)

i need to have a serperate list of people that are ACTUALLY coming, not just interested.

 

Yeah, coming down 57 takes longer, but if you are going to the south suburbs that way is faster. We are going to be right in Rosemont in the west suburbs so going 55 to 355 is by far the quickest way. Oh and guys - DON'T FORGET TO BRING TOLL CHANGE!!!! Make sure you bring plenty of Quarters, Nickels and Dimes or you will have to go to the window and pay your tolls (ugh that takes forever) and some toll entrances don't have attendants.

 

hoffa, didnt you say someone has to be 21 to reserve, or do they have to be 21 when we get there, cause i could use my parents card if they just need money, but i dont wanna get screwed when i get there and they need me to be 21...
