OK so.. since the GTI is officially out of the picture, I did look into the SS/SC for sale with 18Kf miles.. for 15,9. Wouldn't be a bad purchase at all.. BUT I found something else to look at as well.. its orange.. and well you could say it resembles a Skittle.. hm cough

So the GTI is officially outta the picture.. too many miles.. 51K. I like the SS/SC for 15,9 with 18K miles.. haven't driven it yet.. tomorrow I'm headin outta town.. well ok to near Festus to look at an Orange Burst '05 SRT4..
You need lots and lots of moneyssss to make a skittle fast....Plus their dodges and are complete junk.

At least the only tool he will need is a 10mm socket, lol. Everything on that car is a ****** 10mm.

But also, I hope he is ready to fix something every month and a half...

double post on my part.. fail..

anyway, no matter what car I get, people will talk **** about. I told a bunch of people about the orange SS i'm looking at and they call it a ***** Cobalt.. I look at an SRT-4 and people talk **** on that. I'm getting something I'll be happy with - and since I can't get the GTI, either the SS or SRT-4 will be fine with me.

After owning my share of 4cyl cars take a word of advise....GET A V8 there cheaper faster and more fun to drive. or if you dont get a v8 get something all whell drive ex. wrx or evo

Well the Cobalt SS wont break down once a month like an SRT-4 will........Their trannys always go out too. AJ is correct, he should have just said they are ugly piece's of Junk that nobody gives 2 ***** about anymore cause the SS/TC took the crown of being the best bang for your buck 4 cylinder away from the srt-4 cars.

I don't think so. The thing has had one owner, no engine mods ever done, just external crap. For an 05 with 31K miles, I believe it didn't get driven a lot. A lot of SRT's look alike, so I don't think you're thinking of the right person.

And I'd still want to hang with you guys, I don't know any of the SRT crowd except one guy who I'm friends with - but I have met a few others too. You know I would have gotten an SS if I hadn't gotten this right? I was looking at an Orange SS with 1 owner and 18K miles in Maplewood... til i found this.

I like Justin's Scion.. And for Brandon... That car was modded... I ran him on 55 a while ago. And just because it has low miles and one owner doesnt mean it cant be modded. Aj's car is heavily modded and 1 owner with low miles

According to state farm, no bank is going to give me over 11,700.. and i need more than that. So I don't even know if I'm gunna get it. This is retarded - car dealerships today don't know what the hell they're doin. I'm looking at all my options including a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with a decent suspension lift and 26 thousand miles for 16,5... or less.

Is it banks or todays economy? Loans are based on cars actual value, not what people are selling things for. I couldn't get a loan for the cobra I wanted, so I said Eff it.

Buy an 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 Mod motor in it and get a tune/exhaust and spray and run low 13's.. Brandon i have looked at all options and researched tons of cars that nobody ever thought would have potential. Just start looking at some different cars, Grand prix GXP 5.3/ 4.8-5.3 Silverados/ 4.7 jeeps/ Impala SS 5.3/07+Toyota Camry SE's/Grand Prix GTP etc... the list goes on and on.

Jake I drove a GXP Grand Prix today with the LS4 in it.. took off decent. had all the options. Its at Suntrup in St Peters. Pretty quick. Its on my "maybe.." list. Jeep is #1 at the moment.
