According to your mod list you have what I had on my stage 3. My temps did not go crazy as long as I did not run it hard multiple times. Did you get a new IC pump?

i got my ic pump and a conservative tune. My temps are running between 187 and 198 °during normal driving with some traffic. My iats are usually at 30 to 40° above ambient temps.

You didnt have any cooling mods?

Ryan had some heavy personnal issues going on for awhile and really still does have some going on now. But if you need to schedule a tune get ahold of me and I can always get in touch with him and see when we can get you guys together.

I had horrible iat temps when I first bought the car at one point I saw 212 degrees on a long pull vs a cummins. After that I found the the h/e pump went bad. Two the previous owner had rerouted the line after he installed a front mount heat exchanger and reversed flow through the the limnova cores that are directional if I remember correctly. And my immediate fix was reroute the line to correct flow replace h/e pump at the same time I installed a zzp option b a zzp phelinic space followed by a dual pass and water wetter. On 55 on my way home my iat 1 read 82 degrees my iat 2 read 91 degrees. My setup is a 2.9 on a gm stage 2 tune only other mods include cat back intake like said Matt dual pass and phelinic spacer should knock down you temps greatly. With my current setup after a hard pull I see at most 120-130 degree iat temps. Try taping lightly on on yo h/e pump and see if you can see any flow. If you need help find the pump I'd be more than glad to crawl under my car and take a photo for you I firmly believe that removing or replacing your hood liner will have no effect on iat's and from the engine temps you posted above the seem within normal operrating tempture

Thanks man. Good stuff.
I would appreciate that picture as I cant even remember where it is.
Also, I was thinking more about keeping under hood temps down with the hood liner. Just figured it might be an extra little bit to help the engine. I have a dual pass ready to install when I can dind someone who has done it before to hel me. Im having zero luck with that eight now. Since I dont have the tools or a garage to do it in im kind of screwed till i do find that person. Also, I will be ordering my option b kit and phenolic spacer on friday morning. Should have it sometime next week i hope. With Dual pass + option b and the phenolic spacer im hoping to be down there where you are with my temps very soon.

Its nice to see someone else willing to educate around here. I thoroughly appreciate it.

The Chesterfield Valley meetups are too lame nowadays. Last year they were okay but there was a noticeable downturn this year in the quality of people that attend. All the older folks stopped showing and its filled with teens who dont know how to act correctly and are driving around flasshy cars that their parents paid for. That is why i no longer attend. Its almost as bad as going to Hall Street now.

No offense to you that go....its just my opinion and its not my cup of tea.
on another note....anyone who plans on attending our meet please let me know. Trying to get a decent ballpark head ount. We are already close to 50 that have ""said"" they were coming. We shall see.

I actually have a pretty good attitude. Im always respectful to everyone I meet inless they are disrespectful first. Im pleasant and humble in almoat everything I do. I just hate the cockyness that these kids have sometimes. Like they think they are better than the next man who couldnt afford to do what they did with their vehicles. I seem to get along pretty well with most everyone except for the younger guys out there. I dunno.
plus...whenever I give somebody my word on something i make sure I do it...and I answer the phone when people call or at least call them or text them back. No matter how busy i think i am. I feel like if people take their time to try and get ahold of me that its merely common decency to extend them respect of doing the same in return.

...but apparently I still cant type appropriately without making typos. Guess I can blame that on the fact that i am in my 15th straight hour of work after getting up early beforehand to take care of business for the crew as well. Working two jobs sucks sometimes but I guess we gotta do what we gotta do.

Man I lost 200 bucks tonight on roulette. Just wasn't hitting my numbers tonight. It was lame. It's been a while since I've lost tho... I'm going tomorrow night to get my money back.

Damn son. Roulette has the best odds too. When i used to work Surveillance at Lumiere Place we extrapolated the odds to like a million and each time roulette always came out with the best odds for the guest. But only if you just play the columns and the rows 8-)

Yeah, I love blackjack but i seem to have the worst luck at the casino. Roulette is usually my game... I had a good winning streak for a while. But this weekend was ****.. i mean i won 155 last friday... then the past three days was not good at all lmao... I kinda changed the way i play tho... putting big bets on certain numbers every time... didn't hit those numbers much... Just unlucky :/

Might go back to playing safe like i used to. lol
