the pics really dont do the lights justice. the camera makes them look straight black. when the suns on them you can still see some of the red and even the clear reverse lights.

i almost always use 4 coats on every set of lights i use. i have 3 special blends of clear mixed with single stage black that i use depending on the customers preference of light. his are on the darker end of the spectrum but if you go into my build thread you can see mine on a black car. mine are definately on the lighter end you can definately tell that they have a tint on them.

let me see if i can get dds cobalt to post pics of his aswell since i did his about 2 weeks ago.

thanks for the props jacob and thanks for the business too i appreciate it greatly!

looks good boosted, nice job. And you guys stop being pussies, My **** looks BLACK n never got pulled n you can see them fine. When tinted with real car clear with little texture, more light shines through then nightshades, so you can have a black looking light that still lets through a good amount of light.

I did mine the same way over a year and a half ago been pulled over 4 or so times for other things (window tint, loud exhaust, etc.) but they've never said anything about my taillight. They look dark like you wouldn't be able to see through them but the light shows through just fine. Here's a couple pics of mine one not lit up and one lit up.

P.S. No I don't have blue lights in my reverse lights its due to the blue paint over them

ive tinted lights for many people. i have yet to have one person get pulled over for them myself included which i have tinted lints on the camaro, saleen and the cobalt. like gestapoo said you can use clear with black which will allow the passege of light a lot better then nightshades ever will. thanks for the props man i love you lol.

... it doesnt bro. I have non functional reverse lights lmao. it was have reverse lights that dont let light through, or have reverse lights with chunks of plastic missing from them
