I am going to US41 dragstrip sunday. its located in indiana about an hour and a half from chicago. Its a good track and you get lots of runs in. post up if you are interested.

 

Anyone else verify if this is a decent track? I'm looking for other places to show off the Cav now that's it rebuilt and UBER fast.

 

Do you mean the Route 66 dragstrip in Joliet? That one is a good strip. Not all that old either. I'm originally from NW Indiana. Unless it's been too long, I don't recall a US41 dragstrip in Indiana. There is just a regular road called 41, but no dragstrip. Maybe its new.

 

41 has been there for a while, It s in morrocco. It is a good strip, they just redid the track, and it hooks like hell... however, I was there 3 weeks ago for street car chaos in my talon and got in 5 runs in 5 hours. Most of the time was spent in the staging lanes waiting. I havent been there on a sunday though, so who knows. Probably can get quite a few runs in.

dont go there for an event. test and tune. and 66 sucks ***** because you only get 3 runs in for an entire night during regular test and tune... =/

 

US41 is really in the middle of nowhere. North of Morocco, but surrounded by cornfields. I recommend bringing a large cooler with food and drinks.
