If this and black ss's repsones are aimed at me. I know! I never said I was gonna run my car on the dyno, that is the tech's job. All I plan to do is get my baseline b4 tuning. I will tune if possible with HPT but not re-dyno it. I'm basically going to do lil **** like raise my rev limiter and enhance the MAF fail resonse to 12000khz. These are nothing major requiring a re-dyno. BUT! I did talk to Jeff and Chris and they said they are interested in helping me tune so if we get 3-5 cars wanting a tune it's 75/hr for tuning. I'm guessing 150 will have me set, but I'm also betting I won't need 2 hours.

I plan to be there as early as I can. Porbably at 9am or so. I did call and schedule a slot for me at 1-2pm, somewhere in there I will get to dyno. Just call them up to ensure a spot. They are really cool guys from the call I had today. Looking forward to this.

Anyway, if possible, I'm gonna bring this girl from work that I'm looking to start something with. Divorce will be final next month ( expensive ****). So I guess this meets new mod is 'girl'.

Dude I swear you post everyother post per dayton thread lol. Your post count is flying high Anywho, yes I know the blue spray was Listerman, but you're gonna be there bright and early whereas Nick won't be there til later. Only way I can even knwo if she'll be there or not is if she works this week as I don't have her # yet.

Back on topic tho..... No one else is dynoing this weekend? Just curious if I'm the only css.net one. I'm excited to do it, alot!

I'm not as hip as I need to be on the HPtuners situation....my question for the moment is...is there any real benefit to tuning a stock ss/sc? I may be interested in this whole deal here if it's worth it. I'm still a few months away from being able to go up to intense and have a stage kit done, so if this would be something interesting and beneficial at all to the "kick in the pants" meter, then it may be something to tide me over.

I will be tuning my "stock" SS/SC. There are several reasons to tune stock: 7k rev-limiter, lean out the A/F ratio for more power, lessen or remove torque management, lower boost in 1st gear to enhance the ability to launch, and MOST IMPORTANTLY be able to tune your car whenever you want however you want, and not have to mess with intense or anyone else! Do it!

Its all a toss up...ZZP has a pulley though that can fit a 2.6" without shaving the snout, so going with ZZP to start wouldn't be bad if you plan on going smaller and smaller in the long run. If you want something painted there is always billetflow.

Well I plan on getting a 3.0'' as well. Won't be here in time for saturday but I will get one soon. Stock tuning will allow the car to run the best it can w/o changing anything. i mean , if you think about it, GM wants $500 for the stg1 which is a tune and injectors. So I will be stg one after this saturday lol.
