This is for all you SE Michigan Cobalt owners. I'm trying to organize a simple meet and greet with all local Cobalt owners in the Windsor area. I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in crossing the border to come hang out with us. I was planning this gathering for Sunday September 16th at the waterfront lot we call "civic terrace", it's directly accross from the Casino on Riverside Dr. I will determine the time once I get more feedback from everyone. I just posted this idea to a few guys on the Canadian regional section and already have 5 people interested. Let me know and I will keep a list of attendees and keep everyone posted.

This event will start at 1pm. If anybody needs direction please send me an e-mail or PM. It's very easy to find....just get on Riverside Dr. along the waterfront (Detroit River) and follow to Ouellette Ave. At Ouellette go down to the waterfront parking area and make a right hand turn, this will take you to a small lot where we can park the cars.

Getting lunch with a friend - she was visiting DCX for supplier training and didn't know her way around the place. So I did the grand tour......and then lunch (hey she only wanted a salad!)

we moved it to the apple bees parking lot...about 8pm every wensday.
good crowed and good fun!
Infrequently.........a coupla times this summer. My son worked in Brighton for a while, so I ran over there through Milford, and my friends son had a soccer game over in Westland so I was over by Plymouth etc one weekend. Not much more tho'
Too bad, man. Some drivers just don't get it, at any age........

At 46 I'm no youngster, so the 68 year old cluess truck driver is an old fart in my book. I've only had the new car 8 weeks and this happens, I was a little pXXXed off.

No idea, I was just going through Detroit to get to Windsor, first time I've seen it, I'm usually not in the area. Younger looking guy, 18-24 probably, didn't notice anything aftermarket, sounded stock, but he flew to catch up, revved and nodded.

Anyone from SW michigan? I read through like 4 pages but i dont have the time for all 25. I live in wayland and am reguarly in Holland, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
Wouldn't mind meeting a person or two from the site, sounds cool to meet some fellow cobalt lovers (especially if they have cool **** I can check out) lol
