i have a vid of me beating an intake/exhaust evoVIII
im an ss/sc with just a intake tune and exhaust at the time which should be just a touch faster then a stock tc. actually on that setup i was able to pull my friends tc a little bit but even from a dig i was able to reel the evo in and pull him pretty good from a roll he stood no chance

Wish I could say I haven't, atleast not to a stock or n/a civic. I will admit I got spanked by a club members 425whp integra tc tuned by slomotion & a sick 500+ whp civic that I never seen before so I did a 40 roll & he pulled on me like I pull on stock civics lol

Nah not really, that's what's mostly around my area. Some straight rice buckets some nice swapped out & boosted ones as well. When it does happen you know the guy has some serious $$$ dumped into the car if it walks away from a tuned sstc.

not really. a k swapped crx will run you less than buying a cobalt ss tc and it will be faster since it weighs like nothing. 10-11 grand is what a proper k swap would cost. including all the supporting mods and tuning. plus a couple grand for the car itself. maybe a grand for the rims and tires. then you still have a lot of money left over to make the car look purty. or turbo it...

im thinking about getting an old crx as a long term project car. it would be more for the fun of building it that racing it and stuff tho.

helped a friend build a k crx. we were able to build it real cheap. helped that we got a pretty clean shell for $250 that was only missing an engine/tranny

yep not to mention we bought a rear end crashed 04 rsx type s for $2000 and took everything we needed for the swap. that k20a2 had like 95,000 miles though. haha held for a long time before needing a rebuild though

yeah theyl do that. honda engines are known for lasting so long without being refreshed. i imagine the k series will last much longer than the b series. especially since 500whp is attainable with stock internals.
