First, b/c you put it on the open forum instead of sending it in a PM, so everyone saw it. Secondly, it sounded kind of harsh. Being in the position you are in you need to think about things before you say them, and using different wording would have made for a better situation.

Im not gonna get an SS/SC. Im perfectly satisfied with what I have...besides...you can get more power out of a 2.2 than a 2.0 anyways. I will never have the money to accomplish that task...but the 2.2s are what they use in the drag scene. Or thats what I hear anyways. My car is going to be stricly show...so theres no need for super power.

Oh and I was just brought into this situation today. Yes, you are correct about everyone needing to remember what this is all about. Ive never seen so many members of the male species get so uptight about things.

well, i think im gonna be voted out at the next meet. here is why.

1. i didnt have the $40 for the meet i was at back in febuary
2. i was gone for the second meet in febuary
3. im not going to be around for any meets till july, thanks to the navy not the broken car.
4. causing problems with ken

and ken im not mad about a broken car, its just forcing me to buy the upgraded components sooner then i would like. I'm going to be getting the wiesco forged pistons, the ferra valve designed for high temps caused by boost and nitrous. And you know what since they have to rip the block apart to replace the pistons im going to go ahead and pick up the egale forged rods. Once these parts are in the engine will be capable of producing 500 hp, it wont have 500 hp till i boost the engine but it will be able to handle it. I go on deployment in aug. this year and im up for re-enlistment while on deployment. I've already been told that if we hit a tax free zone that ill get my 45k bonus tax free so when i come back in febuary of 08 my car will be going back into the shop for a turbo and a piggy back fuel control system and ill have them set the boost at 25lbs and tune it for that. i want to get to 300+ whp

 

this isnt your fault though, dont see them holding it against you. i dropped out of DD because of my work schedule, i work every sunday morning to night, thats my $$$ day anyway. working 2 jobs its lots of fun! besides i ve been doing for years so i ve gotten use to it, and the style of living that i cant afford because of it
and red, power and more power= a guy thing i guess! but theres nothing sexier then a hot lady driving a hot show car!

 

I dont know where people are getting these ideas that people are being voted out of the club. Never has anyone been voted out of the club, so i dont know why people keep mentioning it. Im not understanding at all where all this is coming from. And please quit mentioning it in your posts...everyone. If you want an unlimited amount of power power power...Id stay with the 2.2. Thats just my opinion.
