Will anyone else be running their car at the track wed or just me again.also anyone got a set of old 18 tires CHEAP lol I am looking for some to throw on my factory wheels just to tear up at the track .

 

Just spend the money, get decent tires, and run them only on track days. You'll be better off that way. When I finally get back I might be trying that track out a little but, as most of the guys know, my primary focus is autox.

 

never done autox before but hell I will try any kinda racing it 1 hell of a rush and now I know oval I like better then drag (last longer lol)So I know I will be checking out autox.
I want the tires for the burn out comp after seeing what won last week nm to hell with winning its just more fun in my toy.

You guys get out there and get an idea how things operate and we'll all register together sometime and bum rush an event. I got from the regular racers that I was buying a car that wasn't competative on any level of AutoX, then I took first over a GTO and a Miata during the two day Joy Fund event as ACU4 last year. That was my last event before getting deployed. I think we can have a competative team if you guys will stick with me. I plan on making the local AutoX crowd recognize the Cobalt and I don't think it'll be a problem once I get back on the scene.

I'm sure I'm going to have to step up in class when I get back. I was D-Stock when I left but I'll have to review the mods with one of the hardcore guys and see where I fit. I'll need to max out the allowable mods for the class to be competative. I might end up in STX which I'm sure is going to be a pain in the ass but the competition can only make me better, right?

 

so what class would i be in with my mods?
