this maybe true...but Chris can't determin when everyone gets off work, and when they are able to show up and what not. Since Mr. Nitrous is coming from Carolina, I reckon he can meet up with me...I don't know when Lee gets off. And we can all roll together to N.News and meet Chris and Steve, and the other N.Newsers that are going...and head off. I know Chris wants to get there right as the gates open...i dont wanna run my car that much, but I'd be more than happy to be there that early. But it is currnetly thursday so we need some info, or rather i do...i hate being unorganized

Yes, I would like to get there early, but if several people don't get off work till later then I'll do this....Meet at Wal-Mart as before, but I will be leaving Wal-mart at 6. Anyone that would like to meet me up there is more then welcome. For those who can't make it by then, can just meet us at Richmond. For those with tint, make sure to keep your windows down. We all know what happened last time we had a large Cobalt convoy.

Then of course all of this depends on if it rains....

Talking Langley

Did my first Wacky Wednesday last night and had an absolute blast!!!
Time attack went well with a 21 something and compliments from a regular out there that knows me from autox and knew it was my first time.
Raced powerz the first one-on-one and whooped his butt. (With a little help from his brake foot) Then he went on to race in the "B" bracket where he was robbed of a race that he clearly one.
Second race was against some monster station wagon. Don't know what that was all about but the guy had some fun, and that gave me my second win for the night.
Third race was against a VW hatchback. Not exactly sure what it was but this guy gave me a run for my money. I thought it was close but gained my third win.
Fourth race was against an MR2 that ended up winning the whole thing. I'll let you guess what the outcome of that one was.
There's video but I have to work on getting it from another guy and getting it posted.
You guys missed out on a whole lot of fun. Hope to see you there some other time.

It's been a little while since we talked about the Cobalt SS Supercharged and maybe that's part of the problem. Although this sporty version of the econo-minded Cobalt and one step up from the non-blown Cobalt SS has won its share of accolades from sporting organizations and publications, it hasn't seemed to keep up with the vehicles at the head of the sporty compact class. We know that it is a competent performer, but it seems that GM has quietly decided to discontinue it. The naturally aspirated SS, however, will soldier on, but with a new name. For 2008, the Cobalt SS becomes the Cobalt Sport, and the Cobalt SS Supercharged is being dropped altogether. It could be that Chevy wants to focus more attention on the upcoming HHR SS we showed you a little while ago. Whatever the reasoning, it appears the little Cobalt that could, will be no more. Unless, of course, Chevy is just working on finding a way to get the GXP/Redline 260-hp mill into the Cobalt's engine bay. Follow the jump for the full list of changes for the 2008 Cobalt."
