Are you still going up to Maurice's on Saturday?

Well I talked to Maurice today, and he has plans for later in the evening Saturday..meaning he won't be able to come up with us to Ceaser's house. He said he would call me tmorrow (Friday) around noon. I dunno if he means to get the details, or if he wants to do it on Friday. But just talk to him and find a time that is convient for the both of you and I'm sure he has no problem helpin you out.

As for Richmond, if I go, I won't be running. I actually posted sumthin bout goin to VMP next Friday.... noone reads my posts tho..

Question Pits in Richmond

I'm thinking about leaving early. If I'm going to change wheels I need to get there with enough time.
Only real problem I'm having with tonight is not knowing what the pit situation is like. I bring a kit in a gorilla case and a floor jack when I race. Need to know how I'm going to keep stuff from walking off once I change wheels and take everything out of my car. Otherwise I'm rollin up and racing on stock. Can't have that now, can we. I'm still running stock power. Gotta have some kind of advantage to try and keep up with all you Modheads.
Anybody else changing wheels or taking anything out of their car once they get there?

I don't know when everyone wants to leave, but how about meeting at Walmart at 1130-1145 or so? I'd like to leave at noon honestly...get up there by 1 and bullshit around for a little while, eat and then roll about 4 or so. I have plans for Sunday night at 6.

You volunteering? I considered that but I hate to ask somebody to put my dirty wheels and tires in their car. That's why I originally asked who was going and not racing.

Well... you said you had bag and such correct? If you do, you can drop them in my car if I go (which is most likely) and SHHHHH dont tell anyone, but Im stock EVERYTHING and I keep up

BTW, we usually meet at walmart and go up there in the "Cobalt Convoy" $15 to race, $10 to watch.

I still say we go to VMP next Friday...it is a better track, and not that much farther away.

I'm sure you all know about all those Blue lightning trim peices and such that you can get from GM. Well i can get the whole dash kit and the little window control cover peices for 225 i think i was quoted. What do you guys think? would it really look good on a Black car with all black intereior? I'm really thinkn bout gettn this. I just don't want it to look cheesy

Eh, not really feeling it! That is unless you have a bunch of lightning shirts and **** and are stuck in the 80's....

The only cool shirt with lightning is this one!

Yeah we can. Where to meet, I dont really mind. If you can think of a good place by the insterstate to chill for a little that would be cool. Im still getting used to the area. I was thinking of staying around 199 and 64. Doesnt 199 change to herman rd or something like that when it crosses 64?

Art, your car is such a picture ****. I caught it posing with mine and snapped a shot before the convoy headed out to beat up on some imports.

ill check the VMP site and see when their next test n tune and open runs are

ok i checked out the site. saturday they have a full day of drag racing. its $30 for test n tune and that includes entering your car into the Quick 8. at the end of the night the winner gets the purse. if you car breaks you get half the purse. and you must make a full pass to get paid. 9am gates open for test n tune.

i know 30 is a lot to race but this track is worth it, its an offical NHRA track

here is the link to the event for saturday

it said quick 8 is 50 bux. I would rather go on friday night, the temps are a little cooler. If we go on saturday, they do their racing at like the hottest part of the day. I don't think the money would be worth it...
