Talking Our newest mod!

Well, Makenzie Autumn is here! She was born after 25 hours of labor with 3 of them pushing however she was delivered via C-section due to compound problems. Her arm was over her head thus she could pas through the birth canal. Born at 2014 hrs on 19 Jan 2008, 7 lbs 15 oz, 21 in long. After some severe bleeding mom is doing much better this morning.

I will get some pics up as soon as possible.

I know some people said they wanted to visit. We are in the langley hospital, 2nd floor, room 10. You will have to enter through the Urgent care entrance. Any questions, you can call my cell at 940 337 1860.

Thumbs down Lamoes, Dis Is Fo' U

Congrats on the kid.

ON A SIDE NOTE:

Since I'm not known for being the nicest guy on here, I'm going to go ahead and throw this out there.
It's looking like the idea of "Domestic Disturbance" is becoming more of a "Domestic Disappointment".
Frankly, it pisses me off. I even had somebody ask me if he could be a part of the group but I couldn't give him a decent reason why he should be.
It seems like right now all we have is a group of people with a common sticker on their car because they want to feel like they're a part of something. I understand when people have to work but I hope you people wake up and get a little more active when the weather warms up. Otherwise, that sticker is just a waste of space on my car. Not that I wouldn't want to be friendly with any of you, just don't want to be affiliated with "nothing".

And if I hurt anybody's feelings.........

Congrats on the kid, marerick. Your life will never be the same. My son turns one next month, and its amazing how fast they grow.

On a side note: Anyone at the Hooter's on Military last night? Silver SS/SC in the parking lot. Just wondering.

HEY CONGRATS MAN!!! I am really excited for you guys. This the first born? Everytime I see happy couples with little ones it makes me want kids a little more everytime. I am really glad to hear the wifey is ok. I can't make it up there so give my wishes to her, and my Congrats.

I know how ya feel man. I joined the site almost 7 months or w/e ago, and the first couple months something was always going down, now nothing. I never claimed to be "part of the group" b/c (no offence) I just don't do car clubs. Its not my thing. But its always nice going out with the guys. Even this thread has pretty much boiled down to about 5 of the same people posting. What we need is a couple hot chicks to come to this area and get everyone wanting to go out again..lol

Thanks guys for all the congrats! Cesar, if you want to come, I can pick you up at one of the LaSalle gate. You can park in the visitor's center lot. Give me a call and I will come and get you.

Ernie, the wif and I sort of feel like you do. As a club, we don't do enough things; however it is winter right now, so the weather isn't that good. Plus almost everyone of us has things going on in their lives now. I'm always up for a meet, but I need some significant advance notice. Things should be easier for us now since I will be on day shift...kind of got promoted last week to the Asst Shop Chief; not that I really wanted it...

I get what your saying with people having lives and all. And I would like to elaborate more on what Ernie was saying. This coming from my perspective because I don't consider myself part of the club. So you guys are more like friends to me. Its not just about the car meets. Its more or less hanging as friends. Sure it is winter, but we don't do anything hardly anymore.

Talking

So then it's settled.
Our next big meet should commence with a group hug.

I did say that I understand about people's lives and that I'm waiting to see what happens when weather gets warmer.

im not a part of the team(even tho i tried to be when i was in virginia beach) if you guys wanna actually feel some more cohesion then maybe the next time you all link up you should devise a way to start teaching small classes. maybe start off with audio installs, bolt on parts, detailing techniques, or(a really good one if you ask me) proper launch techniques. im not sure if any one has ever suggested this but it could be good for some of the guys with lesser automotive knowledge. teach each other something that way you can prevent people from turning in to the stereotypical spocom jackass

What? we do that. We have a guy to hook us up with parts, a guy that does car radio, several guys that tune, several that install, and I am by far the better drag racer when it comes to driving so we got it all.
