my guy at priority told me they expect to have one by the end of the week!!!
of course your "hook up" is going to tell you the truth, the dealer wants some time to drive it around and beat it up a bit before they sell the first one..... i always check the odometer and make sure it only reads 7 miles on it, other wise i bitch. 7 miles it what it gets from the testers at the plants test out the car to make sure its cosher before it ships out on the trucks
yes it is confirmed it IS a sport tint with a high rise. G85 package all that good stuff. the sticker price is 24,980. i did all that today im just waiting on approval. leballin got 300 buck out of itself.. were proud ha ha.
Y do you love me for? i didnt get the car yet .... and its not lookin to good. if i coulda got rid of this and went in without a car it woulda been better. but we will c what happens today.
Personal opinion, you're making a mistake buying the new TC.
Outside of me trying to sell you my car, pay attention to the way I'm thinking.
Look at the prices of most any SC now, bottom dollar. Granted, they aren't set up like mine, but they're dirt cheap. $15k give or take depending on the miles.
Also, look at the Stage 5, fully funtional, bolt-on, top of the line Hahn turbo kit for the 2.0. This kit is ready to go. It's not some lost cause like the SC swaps that people have been trying. This kit is tested, proven, in production, and for sale now from a reputable company for about $4400.
Giving you a total of around $20K for a car that is already proven capable of 360hp on pump gas and will kick the living **** out of a brand new TC by 100hp.
Now we'll look at the TC which you're so in love with.
$25,000 + financing = about $30K?
Save you're money, do it right. If you're buying a TC because you think it's badass, you're sadly mistaken and will just end up dissappointed all over again. Buy a car that nobody wants, debadge it, maybe even get a lowpro spoiler, and build a real badass 4cyl beast that will have everybody wondering what the hell you have under the hood.

Somebody help me out here. Which is better?:
~$20K for 360hp
or
~$30K for 260hp
and a car that you know you're going to want to mod.
If you say you're not, you're fukin' lyin' to yourself.

gotta side with ernie on this one. Regardless of what you say or how you think, the ss/tc is more than likely going to put you even deeper in a hole. His logic makes ( dare I say this) perfect sense. My car, which I bought for under 21k, with just under 2k in mods is over 260 whp. Plus, you are going to spend the next few years waiting for aftermarket turbo swaps that are reliable because the car is american and we don't get that kind of love from the jump. Dodge made almost of all of the turbo upgrades at first because there was no one else to provide.
Not taking a stab at your dream but he does have a point. Reality is that there will be those of us who will still be faster.

If he was thinking of upgrading the turbo he could simply try to sell the stock system off of the new TC to some 2.0 that wanted turbo and buy the Hahn system. You know they're out there. But still, he'd be paying way too much for what he could get for about 10K less. It would be a waste of money to buy with plans of a swap.
Honestly, I hate that I've spent the kind of money I have on my car then something like this turbo kit comes out. If I could get away with it, I'd beat the living **** out of the guy that screwed my doors the first time and the guys who still have my money and STILL haven't produced a public TS kit.
I wouldn't want to see somebody make an obvious mistake when all the info is laid out in front of them.
Hell, he might even surprise a few EVO's..... if he could drive it.
