Finnaly fixed my misfire problem...turns out changing the spark plugs did it. I had the NGK 1 step colder plugs in there but apparently the don't last as long or something. They were in the car just over a year. I put the GM iridium pugs back in and the car hasn't misfired once.

Hey, no problem. If I can do it you should be able to.

Hmm, interesting. Did you have 60's and a smaller pulley too? I have the NGK one step colder plugs and I have a similar problem.

Joe, what do you think?

I have 42's and a 2.9". I pulled out the plugs and they weren't any good. Especially the one for cylinder #4. It looked burnt. I put the GM ones in and they work great

no no no as nice as it looks i cant do it. GM is a dead end street.... dont worry danew... you guys can shun me all you want but ill prolly be crossing over to ford. as much as i bash ford and we all dont like ford... if im to get a new car and want my dads co-signature.... i have no choice cause he and my step mom worked for ford.... so i get A-plan pricing...

I'm just pulling your leg Steve. I know how much trouble you're having right now, and honestly I don't blame you. If Ford decides to, they have a focus rs that is a turbocharged 2.5L inline 4 producing about 300 horses. It's already being sold in europe.

yah i dont want to be shunned by you guys but with the extremely limited availability of the parts for this car and the fact that im being made to pay for something that id dealer error and not mine,, ridiculous.... unfortunately my dad is not going to wanna co-sign another car for me and he was my only hope... i have parts that people want off my car already... so ill prolly just sell them and use the money i get toward my Down payment or to help take off some negative equity

damn right!!! but it would make a worthy platform to start from. with that much from the factory, you wouldn't need to upgrade.

I don't think you'll be the "fastest" for too long. But I'll wait and see what happens with steve.
