I just got off of the phone with Joe about setting up a Dyno day in your area. We agreed on a time and date at All Aspects Motorsports. I'm looking forward to talking to you guys. Some of you I've talked to in the past. So far I've got a LOT of guys from our club in NOVA.

Unfortunately, no. I have to buy another shortblock to get the main work done. It'll still be in progress coming up to the new year. So it'll be a while. But I am due to transfer from here soon, and my next duty station might just be the Fredricksburg/Dahlgren area.

 

lmao they cant do that. its the same routine if they want to serch ur car.. they must possess a search warrant.. so if this happend i suggest fighting that ticket and/or get a lawyer..

Danew, I'm going to try to find my flywheel Friday and take it to Joe Saturday. I know you're out at sea right now, so don't worry about me until you get back. Let's just focus on getting your car done first. February 27 is the dyno day at All Aspects.

 

I dunno if this car is gettin traded in yet or not i gotta wait and see today when i go to the dealer.. Apparently jenny trading her car boosted my credit up.. Cause it payed off yhe eclipse.. And my name was first on all documents

 

Connor, that's fine. I appreciate you looking for the flywheel. That's another important piece of the puzzle that I needed. I got even better news yesterday.

This is actually good news.

I spoke to Ray Bates again, and he said that he has a shortblock that already has the sleeves installed in them. He wants $200 for it, and I have to take care of the shipping cost. I'm going to ask him how much it would be to have the sleeves machined down to handle the pistons I just ordered through him. That would also cut down on the cost of having to get the previous option for a block machined down and sleeved.

I sent Joe (gramps) a couple emails but haven't heard back yet. If someone sees this before him, just let him know he's got some letters from me.

Steve, it probably would be better to leave the car as it is, meaning not taking any obvious parts out of it like the seats.

And the dyno day being in February is some good ****. That'll give me plenty time to get the Phantom back into running shape and out of the break-in process.

BTW, Gordy has the axels and plans to go into the trans tomorrow (Fri.) night. One of the NOVA guys is interested in the donor trans if reasonably repairable.
