I got a ticket for impeding traffic today which basically equates too i was doing 13 over and the cop let me off really easy and only wrote it for impeding traffic. I realize that it isnt a point offense and i have to pay the fine but my question is does this still show up on my driving record? Like if i get pulled over again down the line do they see this on there?

It depends on your state laws, in PA no points = NOT on driving record.

Yes it will show up as a no points traffic violation. It will show on your record for a total 2 years and will show on the DMV Report for 5 years.

 

you could always do defensive driving and get it taken off your record. thats what i did but mine was for speeding.

 

thanks for the reply guys, yah i realize it doesnt make sense but he let me off pretty easy so i am still greatful. I have a so far clean record so i am kinda tempted to atleast go to court for it. Not sure how successful that will be since he was leniant all ready
