Well i have a local dyno we can go too, im actually thinking bout settin up a dyno day ther. Its only 600 to rent him for the whole day, w as many runs as you can get!! If you look on the dyno thread look for 383strokers dyno and prozac posted some vids of 383's car at the dyno. Let me know if interested. Oh yea its on the sw end of indy tho, lol and its a dynojet

Something like 8 or 9* of KR.. there's alot of power loss there, it's probably a 300 horse car now that it's been retuned

They also do $100/hr tuning if you bring your own tuner (or are your own tuner).. That's where i went when i made my timing experiments thread

I'll pitch in if i've changed anything on my set-up by then.

Thatd be cool, it was tuned using hp tuners by a kid named Avijit. He is a cool kid but I dont think he was ever taught how to use the program he just sorta started figuring it out. My car is makin about 22-25psi but it will spike at like 25 and then i'll lose boost so I'm not too sure what he did but I'll put ur # in my phone definitely. I prolly wont have money til mid-january I lost my job last month and just finally found another job. My name is Joe by the way

oh and my # if u want it is (317) 506-3085

You're not going to hold any higher boost than that with HPtuners, we can't control the waste gate yet

Remenber that tom has mine jumpin to 25 for the initial torque then bleeding down to 21-22lbs. I know its not a steady 25(which i dont really want) but i like the burst of power that it does give at first ,lol

Yeah, that's a boost spike.. :P.. The waste gate is still set to 21.7, you're just momentarily creating more airflow than it can vent...

Sounds good! I'll just keep checkin on here i guess to see when you are in town and stuff. If I have to wait til summertime or somethin it's no big deal I'm not really racing or anything especially during the winter. And yea the boost spike is cool for that split second when you get pushed into the seat, but sometimes it will make my check engine light come on so I'd rather have it nice and smooth.

So anybody got any specific dates that would work better for them on this? So i kinda know wut to say to him when i call, lol.

Just curious tho does it matter that its as cold as it is while tuning? I mean does the cold affect the tuning process at all?
