Here's the new thread. From what I've heard the first idea for the next meet would be to either meet up here and eat then drive down to where Justin is for a cruise or just have the meet down there and cruise. If we were to go there we could have the meet at McCormick's Creek state park and get a shelter or something. would make for some AWESOME pictures!!!!

 

ok thanks for the new thread I was thanking we could all meet up in Columbus IN just off of I65 and head towards Nashville IN on SR 46 to south on SR 135 down to SR 56 in Salem IN then take that over to French Lick. It will be about an hour and a half drive from Columbus to French Lick there are plunny of places to stop and eat or take pictures and historic place to see. If you guy want to drive more I can plan out more roads to take so let me know what you think and let make a date of when everone can meet up.

Autocross FTW! What class would I be? I can put the stock hood back on if needed to be in stock class. I've only "painted parts" and done I/E lol

Ok guys, this saturday I am meeting up with 5 or 6 of the grand prix guys, you met a few that will be there, we're gonna meet at suds around 7:30 8 o'clock then cruisin. Didn't know if any of you had freetime saturday night and wanted to waste some gas!

I was getting on to let ya know my info. Need to have it flashed w/ a techII to a valid vin/OS combo... here's the link of valid combo's

From HPT: Its because this is an invalid PCM OS for this Vin number as per GM's SPS site
http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web which is the standard we go by. Your best bet would probably be to have a shop with a tech 2 flash it back to a valid stock file and then reread with our software.

 

It is strate and borning lol i drove the route today and it will be alot of fun and French Lick is amazing for pictures and all kinds of fun. There will be alot of curves and strates to have fun on the drive will take around two hours once we leave Columbus. The 22nd will work for me we could all meet up around 10 am that way we all will get back not so late or if anyone want to stay the night there that is cool to.

How much is it to race? and do we need full on race hilments or will D.O.T. ones work thats what we use down here but they told use that we couldnt use them up there?

 

Well fellas I'm sad to say that I just got back from ohio and my car is tuned back to stock....

I have a issue with either a axle or cv joint and it will have to go in for service...

xtremegm rode along with me to ohio so we had fun boosting to 22psi their, only to see 12-15 on the way home...lol

We happend to run across a csrt4 on the way back but he didn't wanna play

I'm down for a backroad cruise just gotta get my baby back in shape!

Oh and when the car is back from the dealer I have a new set of tires ready so maybe I can snap another axle!

Mine did not fair so well. I had moon roof issues and couldn't get it closed all the way. So, now I have an inch of water in my rear floor boards and my recaro's are now a dark stained gray

 

oh snap.. that blows :|

soak as much as you can out of teh floorboards before it soaks into the carpet foam.. that's the hardest part to get dry (trust me..lol)

Ok about the meet I think the 22 will work if everyone is willing to meet up in Columbus IN at 10 am I know that kinda early but it is at lest a 2 hour drive from Columbus to French Lick. If we all leave at that time it will give use pluny of time to get down there check everything out and sitll get back to Greenwood to cruse if you want or head home to make the auto x race the next day:-) Also if you like to golf bring your clubs they have an amazing 9 hole course I think its like 40 bucks to play 18 holes with a cart well worth it.

So lets start a list on who is going to make it (if the date dose not work out for you suggest a new date please)
