IndyCGP & Intense Dyno Day Invitation
I'll add you and 11-12 should be fine. We probably won't go in any particular order anyway.
For anyone planning on attending: We're suggesting you bring chips or something else snack like to pitch-in and drinks. There are a few places to eat nearby but many of us won't leave until we're all through. I'll bring a cooler with ice for drinks, some cups, small plates and napkins. Just a thought
OK well sorry for the short notice but we just found out that my friends truck will be able to dyno this weekend. After a rebuild and some extra goodies some things went wrong but now everything is A ok and the truck is running well....... very strong
So would it be possible to reserve another two spots?
1.) Michael Beach - '99 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 5.9L Cummins
2.) Baron Vance - '02? Ford F-250 4X4 7.3L Powerstroke
Im not sure what the shop setup is like but my friend with the Cummins has stacks and will be blowing a shat load of black smoke (just fair warning
). My guess is with a look at the list he should put down much bigger numbers than anyone there.
Thanks in advance

awesome, yes i meant WB. thank you a ton , youve been a great help.
Read through the whole thread to get all the details but basically:
$65 for three pulls
Intense is no longer tuning, I believe you can tune your own if you have HP tuners with you but no tuning will be available from the shop.

Nice to see some of you guys there it was a great day to be out. I was happy with a 221 HP, 186 Ft. lbs. stock run. I was there with most of the diesel red-necks
and there torque monsters. My best friends truck (the white Dodge) put down about 500 HP and 900 Ft. lbs. hopefully I can get some pics and videos up. How did you guys do?
s1lver what were you driving?

Can I have your seats?
I did ok, felt it should have been higher but I guess it's a start. 180.6hp@6100 and 180.9ft-lbs@4100 Still breathing through the stock intake and exhaust so I guess I shouldn't have expected much. Intake should be here this week or next.
Thats really not to bad considering RWD losses. You could have a pretty sick truck with a turbo setup. But that shat costs money.

Hey Guys. I figured out some of the Dyno numbers were off. I think it may have affected most of you so check em out.
Our '04 Monte went in the morning using Cozzolinos new software and the numbers were converted in STD on the sheets (this is the conversion the numbers should be in). After they had problems reading a couple Grand Prixs they switched back to their older software. Later in the day when I put my '06 on the Dyno, the numbers on the sheets he gave me were converted in SAE (Lower Numbers). Check your numbers and see if they are in SAE or STD.
My wife calculated the conversion so thanks to her.
If your numbers are in STD then they are right. If they are in SAE then multiply them by 1.029 and that should correct them.
Example: My '06 dyno'd at 263.2 HP
263.2 * 1.029 = 270.83 STD HP
This conversion only works on HP. The torque conversion takes into account many varables thus it's not a direct conversion. We'll be able to convert these #'s after I get the Dyno files from Pete. I'll try to get the dyno files from him this week so we can convert the torque SAE#'S into STD.
Buy the way, It was fun having all of you join us Sat. Thanks for helping us have a succesful event and I'll post here if we do it again in the Fall.

Still working on the vids but I got the runs online this morning. Right click and save as.
http://www.kernfamilysite.com/media/DynoDay2007Runs/
You can download a free viewer from Dyno jet here:
http://www.dynojet.com/downloads/software.aspx
Remember to set the correction factor to STD. If you play around with the software you'll find most of the setting info.
If anyones missing, let me know.

Cool, thanks for the update. I thought my #'s seemed low, I was afraid something was wrong. That puts me at 186hp@6100rpms now, I can definitely live with that for a 99% stock baseline. Intake/exhaust should put me close to the 200whp I was wanting this time.
