Jonnyb, Lordstown,ohio meet?
I was just wondering if we are having a lordstown meet this spring/summer, or whenever really. It would be real cool to go the day the roll the ss/tc off the line.

I i know that there was a meet last year, but i didnt hear about it until like the day before, so im thinkin if we get somethin planned early, we can all get the time off if need be. I really would like to get somethin planned for a weekend.

Just an idea, but i'll try and talk to my supervisor and see if i can get a phone number for the PR person at lordstown. I know our plant gives tours and maybe we could get something worked out for a group plant tour. Our plant (moraine assembly) only gives tours on tues and thurs. Give me a few days and let me see what i can come up with.

I know our plant gives tours and maybe we could get something worked out for a group plant tour. Our plant (moraine assembly) only gives tours on tues and thurs. Give me a few days and let me see what i can come up with.
wasn't last year's meet was on the same day as the "make a wish" charity car show? real big show every year at the plant.
anyways...had i known i would have been there. i live about 25 minutes away.

well i only did this thread cause alot of people, including me, didnt find out about the meet in time to get it off work.So if we get a word on it, we can get it off.

If they say no, they do have a huge show in July. We can meet there
as stated previously, the huge show is the "make a wish" foundation fundraiser.
nothing against that show, i attend every year. but i think the cobalt meet should be at a different date so we can do other things such as plant tours, track time (quaker city raceway), restaurants, etc.
