Looking for a Cobalt SS in Dayton, OH vicinity

Hey guys, I'm looking for someone that owns a Cobalt SS/SC in the Dayton area...I need to try test fitting the LFP HE that I have on a Cobalt SS/SC to see if there is any chance at all of getting it to fit.

Looking to do this tomorrow, August 15th since that is when I will be earliest available and I want to get this done ASAP. It won't take much time at all and removing the bumper on my car is a pretty straight forward 10 minute job now so I don't see it taking long at all for this.

Well, I can't help you today seeing as I need to be at work at 2:30pm. Thursday I'm meeting up with a member in waynesville for a lil project of mine. If you don't have it done by then, I'm down for meeting thhursday. Of course you'll have to come out the waynesville cause once I get there my car will be immobile for a lil while. I'll be there around 7:30. Let me know and I'll ask the other guy if it's all cool.

Oh, you're the one getting the exhaust installed? Actually it shouldn't take more than an hour for your exhaust to be installed, I'd hope. Took 45 minutes for my buddy to put mine in and he had to weld a hanger on there since it was designed for the Cobalt. If it is going to have to be Thursday I will just use KillerNutz's because he told me he would, but thursday is the earliest for him and I want to do this Wednesday.

What were the problems with it? Hmmm...I would have taken it to Serra...Greg (Yellow Cobalt SS), his brother works there. I say Voss is better for sales, but shitty service, opposite for Serra.

Actually, Aeain (owns a black RL, real name Andrew), he is a mod on the RL forums...him and I were talking about getting it so if the 4 of us go in on it thats $160 each AND since it comes with 8 credits, 2 credits to register a car, we're all covered without additonal costs!

SO we get the ss/sc cred and RL cred and call it a happy weekend!!! Only problem is this conflicts with what I'm spending money on atm. Let's just leave it at custom and something people really want. Might have my fabricator make them for people on order. If needed, is there a way to return the pcm tune to factory stock spec?? Just curious.

Yeah definitely. You use 2 credits to register each car. You can then hook up that 1 car infinite times and save infinite files. First file to save is always the stock tune. Then after you modify it, you save it under the file for your car. Kind of like a file on your desktop...in a file for each car you can save your tunes. So stock, 42.5s and a 2.8, etc etc etc. So if you have to get services done, flash it back to stock and you're golden!

Ok, now that we have commited to this, do "we" have a laptop to use this on? Also, I am reading up on this to try and learn what is what. Do any of u guys have any good resources to help me in my learning of this program. I have been reading the forums here: http://www.hptuners.com/ but I am not familiar enough with the program to understand a lot of what they are talking about.
