im sorry everyone but i have to back out .... i went to start my car this morning and it started running realy realy bad i changed my spark plugs . that dident help so i changed my injectors. that dident help so i took the sc off and took it back to stock that dident work.. i found that my ignition module was bad and was cousing constant miss fires i couldent even drive it... those dam bosch platinums +4s burnt up my ignition module... now thats its back to stock theres no point in getting it dynoed

its ok my blue cobalt is just about done and it will go on that one.. so to date i had it on there for 22000 miles and no tunning with the stage 2 pully and injectors went through 5 transmissions but never hurt the engine... thats one strong ecotec... im sad to have taken it off but im glad i did at the same time....

I posted this on the cavalier forms. So hopefully we can get some more people to help out with this.

 

I have the ZZP 2.8 Pulley now would I have to run 60's and will the Stage 2 reflash work? I will get HPTuners, but not right now.

 

yep and nope

 

you can run 42's on a 2.8 for a while but the injector will wear out after time, but if you do 42's you can do a stage 2 tune but it sucks for a tune i can do a lot better with hp tuners, but 60's is better but a pain in the ass to get right so far i dont have mine right yet at all rpm's but its getting better... i actually have stopped tuning mine till i get my new 2.6 pulley i just ordered today so i can fine tune everything later

 

Now how far can we go with our cars before we start getting to internals?

 

hey put me back on the list ill put the supercharger back on before we go to get dynoed.. i want to know what my #s are on the 2.2.......... so yall im back in and i wont back out again if i do ill just pay the 50.00 is that ok.. or is my spot filled allready.....?

 

from what i have seen when you start getting to around the 300 horsepower number you start getting to the limit of the factory pistons, and also 60's and a 2.6 pulley have sometimes caused the number 4 cylinder to go lean and blow it as well.

yea anytime this weekend after sat afternoon i still have to work this saturday which sucks

 

cool ill put it back on around the 18th.. it only takes 3hrs by myself.. not 2 bad... ive been trying to get people but you no its christmass.. people are very busy...

my car is going to come in to get tunned again after my dad gets the header and downpipe put on but it's a little more than just a few dyno pulls. but I cant wait to see what you guys put up. when mines gets done i'll try to get the printout so I can see how it went

 

to bad your car cant be there i could bet i can get the tune right in 3 pulls..

 

i seen a white cobalt with some vinyl on the side of it on blue lick today, it sounded good. is this person on here?

 

There was one for sale out by Fort Knox a while ago, it sounds like the same one. I do not thing that the owner is on here.
