awesome night at the track tonight, with the exception of a broken or possibly broken roll pin in the shifter linkage. I made an unheard of 9 passes from 7 to midnight tonight. BTW, if the pin in the linkage is getting ready to fail, your driver mod goes down hill by missing gears.

Here are the results, not too bad considering it was really really humid 91 degrees dropping to a humid 86 when we left.

Reaction 60 FT 330 FT 594 FT 1/8 ET 1/8 MPH
1st Missed 2nd 0.0650 2.3529 6.6341 9.3390 9.9319 75.89
2nd spun 1st 0.1641 2.4128 6.3340 8.8828 9.4506 79.25
3rd spun 1st 0.1900 2.5159 6.4549 9.0108 9.5809 78.93
4th spun 1st 0.0940 2.4261 6.3422 8.8969 9.4678 78.81
5th drop tire pres 0.1778 2.3061 6.1582 8.6911 9.2592 79.21
6th Missed 3rd 0.8188 2.3551 6.2810 8.8672 9.4799 73.44
7th spun 1st, missed 2nd
Was on a pro tree. 1.0187 2.7142 6.9461 9.5544 10.1334 77.72
8th 0.2330 2.2687 6.1288 8.6609 9.2280 79.35
9th, broke or
stretched Roll Pin 0.1459 2.3211 6.6380 9.2961 9.8822 76.77

I will be replacing said roll or tension pin with a hardened grade 8 bolt tomorrow. Can't wait for the air to get cooler and less humid. It would be nice to see high 8's with an 81 or so MPH on there.

dammit, I had all that **** spaced out when I typed it.

but you had fun and got a white slip on one of those runs... it is all with practice. We need to lock in a Bowling Green meet for the beginning of October.

I thought you were going the wrong way when I passed you on the gene snyder. Anyone down for a chainsaw party here in a few weekends? the trees around the house need their attitude adjusted. A limb just broke out and busted the back window of Brandon's car in the drive way.

The cobalt and HHR are parked in the court.

My car is parked in the court also and the neighbors trees have already dropped 3 big branches! I had all of my tree's trimmed and all of the dead wood cut out so I should be OK I hope. power has cut out 4 times at my house so far today though, kinda sucks.

Hey I got a question, I'm getting the stage 2 kit soon. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get it put on that would do it at a good price and where I can get a reflash done for a good price also?? Any ideas would be good thanks

I think the dealership has to install and reflash in order to keep the warranty(correct me if im wrong guys). if you really dont care about warranty, best thing to do is to buy like a zzp or intense hub and pulley and injectors and harness, the cheapest way, and have someone tune you.there a few guys on here including myself that probabley wouldnt mind helping you out intalling the s2 kit.

Well Im talking to a guy that is selling some stage 2 stuff. He is selling me the pulley, injectors, and belt for 150. He said I would have to buy a stage two hub, is he right? And is that all I need??

yep, the stage two hub or an aftermarket hub with the s2 bolt pattern. your better off to get a custom tune when you install it. the s2 reflash from a dealer is vin specific, if the paperwork with the kit has already been flashed, it is used up.

I have a pulley puller laying around somewhere. if you need it, let me know. I could help if you need it, but won't be available for a few weeks.
