Yeah, you know if I could the Cobalt would be there. I am in to process of getting it back to stock to drop it off at the dealership to get it fixed under warranty. I may have another Cobalt come though. If she can get up here.

K I got two more that are going to come. I will make some more calls and see what I can do. Maybe even drive mine broke and all!!!!

No, I talked to a couple GM techs and Cobalt owners that have had this happen to them. I was told it is one of two things if not both of them. A blows ring or piston.

do the compression test first. More than likely it will be rings before pistons, If it were pistons there would have been hella noise and mass destruction. Rings will generally re-seat if they are not cracked. anything less than a 5% variance between cylinders should be ok if i recall correctly.

Yeah, I am just going to drop it of though. They can fix it. I need to use it before my warranty is done with.

so whats the deal with the roosters meet, is it a go? I have no idea where this place is, if I coming in to Louisville on 64 West where do I go? If it's not too far, I might try to make it out.

if you are coming from gene snyder. off gene snyder you will make a right towards meijers and go down preston about 2-3 miles. you will pass a a main intersection(outer loop)with a shell on the corner and a pizza hut and roosters will be on the right shortley after that. the more the merrier. id love to see a few balts other than bryans, mikes, and mine show up.

Sounds like crap! Need to get a resonator or something and if I was you I would get the oil pan fitting welded there. The set up looks good though.

It was nice to see everyone and meet new faces. Now if we can get another one before I leave for basic.

yep, you can check out kyscca.com. I know that two of the three locations are still a go for next year, Ft. knox, and UPS, but Papa Johns stadium bailed out because of pressure from the local neighborhoods because of the noise on a Sunday afternoon.

It is on the website on the "first timers" tab. There are multiple pages along with the 2008 rules and regs. the 2009 should be about the same as 2008, it just depends on what the national scca officials change.

they usually have at least 1 event a month during the summer, but with papy johns backing out on the contract and very limited area's that will accomidate a sunday of parking space being un available, I am not too sure if there will be that many events next year.

There is a local 502 forum that has a dedicated section to autocross. Goggle 502streetscene and check it out. I am on the same name as here on that board.

Be at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park off Westort Rd. at 1:00pm. The cruise will leave around 1:30pm and will make it's way over to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The Toys 4 Tots reps will be at Papa John's place to collect for the kids somewhere around 2:00 and 2:30.

Who all is going to the cruise? If the weathers better this time, we need to do some group pics. I'm going to try and make it out. Is there a cost for doing the cruise?

have you dropped it off yet? I saw the video, it sounds like it's got a HUGE cam in it. kinda like mine did when I had that cheap intake on it.

The only cost is a new toy in the box to donate to the toys for tots.
