Whats up guys? I'll be headed up your way two weeks from today. Headed up to the UP to visit family. I probably won't have my cobalt...either my DD or a rental...but if ya see some crazy person honking or waving its probably me lol.

Milan and Martin are 2 hours + for me. Lapeer is 3 minutes away

 

I'd love to race at Milan, but I can't justify spending that money and driving that far to do one or two runs. I like doing as many as I want at Lapeer or Ubly.

 

I pay 25 at milan and I got 7 runs in the first time i went, but it was way to hot out.... plus I could not get 2nd lol. Working on a driver mod, or clutch idk

 

Now that isn't too bad.

I just wish Ubly would start prepping the track like they used to. I like the drive up to and back from Ubly though, gets me them mpgs!!

Anywho...we'll be in West Branch on the 4th...St. Ignace on the 5th...and then in Gwinn from the 6th-13th. 20+ hours of driving...w00t (not). Pretty excited to get back to the 'homeland' as my dad says lol. I haven't been up that way since I was a little kid.

Is Lapeer really bad at track prep? Im spoiled with track prep from florida it was excellent at the tracks I went to down there. I guess I would take 7 runs with good prep at Milan over 50+ which I dont know why you would do that to your car in one night lol.

 

i cant wait for GMP day car show for me, no raceing this year, oh been thinking of selling balt, looks like i might not beable to afford her for much longer, i havent bought **** for it and yet once again im back over 1k on my card just from gas alone

 

I hook up nearly twice as good on the RETURN ROAD at Lapeer than at the line. Yeah, track prep is that bad (read: nonexistant)

 

LOL, well Milan is a good time. I am still learning big time how to launch the car, and not miss 2nd gear. I do need to get E-85 to get my temps down a bit, along with a little more power. My brother will be working up in lapeer next week or so, speaking of it.

 

Nono track prep is decent. It's the shitty surface after the start line that sucks.
