3rd gens are in with 6K hids. They feel like 8k to me though. More blue the the "pure white" I was hearing about. Gotta figure out a way to best wire up the halos/leds. I have two thoughts.

1. Just use the power and ground from the HID kit to power them. Is this a bad idea considering the amount of power coming from the Balast?
2. Get another stock harness so that they halos/leds can be tapped in to the parking light. Is there anywhere I can buy just the harness and not a whole set of Headlights?

Thoughts and comments welcome. Pictures help too! And yes I will wire the LED's and halos cuz i want them and like them.

So... my car randomly stalled out under heavy braking the other night on the way home after that snow. I'm guessing it has something to do with my vacuum? Has this happened to anyone before?

yea idk what the hell do to with this car so senile should just sell it as is and have someone else deal with it... by the time i pull it and put a new sleeve in it id be better off just buying a used motor and putting that in

2.0 Cobalt SS Engine

 

Mine does it every once and awhile. But only under heavy braking. Im going to test it this weekend

 

Might do that and take out the fuse since I have the HID's and lows are my DRL's. Or try to find another harness from a stock set of lights and just T-tap it or butterfly it. Not sure if you can buy just the harness without buying another set of stock headlights. Unless someone on here has them and wants to give them to me or I can pay if needed, but not looking to spend more than $40 ish.

 

Or you could just hard wire them to a switch lol

 

This is another option I'm thinking of doing. Any good ideas on where inside the car to put the switch and how to route the wires?
