So, I have a little update on my car for those that read and helped with the issues that I was having.
The dealer that I went to, where I know a few people, ended up giving me a new engine under warranty and also put a new clutch in for me, and let me tell you I am one happy guy.
The car runs so smooth now that it's almost music to my ears.
The only problem that I have with the new engine and clutch is that the minimum 500 mile break in time on the clutch is going to kill me, .
I do have one question though, for those of you that have an aftermarket clutch, is there any looseness in the pedal after about half way down?
My pedal seems to have a relief point about half way down and has no resistance after that, I mean it still comes up like normal, but it just doesn't seem right.
So, if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, I just wanted some other opinions, because, when I picked it up my friend was on vacation and the tech that I talked to said it was normal with aftermarket clutches.
I'm going to have my friend re-bleed the system since I have a little bit of sponginess in the brakes as well.
Thanks for the input.

Call them and ask for a quote, explaining what it is. If you want, tell them you know "andrew, chad's friend, and its like his spoiler on his car." Mention i recommended them, might lower it a bit more. They'll know which one, i'm there all the time.

Le sigh. Going the cheapest route is never best when doing.....anything. The Hurst shifter is known to have 5th gear lock out and poor alignment which some have reported synchros wearing prematurely.

I have a ZZP Stage 4 with the adjustable clutch rod and I haven't noticed any play in the pedal after half. Then again I do have my clutch rod extended as far as it will go out so I only have to push my pedal down about 3 inches to get the clutch to disengage.
