I head out there a lot, and I love all the empty roads where you can open your car up on.

 

i still worry about that just not as much the thing i hate is that most of the roads up here are dirt roads and my car never stays clean for more then a day

haha yea. i got it with 2500 miles on it stock. its unmolested. i just hope it isnt one of the oil burners.

 

i wouldnt expect it to that low. i have 9k miles on my bike and have no issues at all. just keep the synthetics in it and it will run/shift so smooth

I hope so man, i just read all over the 1000rr.net forum that the 08 1ks like to burn oil and smoke randomly and for no reason. there were a alot of bikes with the issue.

NOPE, and tell that man to step up his shipping game. I got my stock exhaust shipped to me from Ohio for $30-40 and like I said even my full exhaust I just shipped out was less than that hah. I found out the width of the box past 19" bumped it up $50 with the box configuration I had.

 

damn. well when he contacts me, ill ask him if he can box it up smaller or hold it till i get home so i can pick it up from him
