welp i got to destroy the hood since they claimed it unfitable or what ever, was a minor sticking up on sides an could not get it to match. anyone want a destroyed hood. im getting a new one someday

Exactly why I will not go to Woodward.

Please do not get me wrong I love cobalts. BUT I see them everyday.

Woodward is supposed to be about seeing classic cars and muscle cars.

Why on earth would anyone think ppl would want to look at a bunch of cobalts.

It is so gay anymore with all the bullshit that is mixed in with the classics.

 

^ i disagree, woodward is for people who take passion in their cars no matter what it is. it does not simply have to be all about classics. look at all the modern muscle out there now too, all american made. Ive had people compliment me on the side of the road as I pass from young kids to 70s+. I am also not one of those people who rev their engine every two seconds but going down there in my cleaned up gm performance made car to look at other cars to fufill my "passion" is what its all about

I don't get to see olds 442 old regals 53 buck skylarks road runners etc. every day.

I pass about 10 cobalts each morning.


That's why I like back to the bricks so much better. I can walk around and see all the cool stuff and they do a decent job keeping all the modern stuff all lumped together so I can just walk on by.

I remember going to Woodward when it was amazing. one of my fondest memories was sitting on the tailgate of my dads truck NOT driving NOT clogging up the roads for the cool **** and saw drag race after drag race.

Now its like mardigras (sp). All the locals party the week before all the dumb tourists come into town lol.

Did you even see Woodward at all earlier this week and last weekend? It was a blast.

 

^ I agree there is a lot of nonsense that goes down lol and once my dad and I are done with our 66 tbird restoration, you better believe that will be out there instead of my balt..but for the time being, its fun to cruise in my little ss and watch all the idiots and sight see
