Thats really all it takes? I did some calling around and either couldnt get a direct "yes you could get that" or "no we cant do that" and some places (americas best to name one) said they dont even do that and i would have to go to an ophthalmologist for it, not an optometrist. -___-

Not to knock you superrslow, and not personal at all, it's just my biggest pet peeve about car enthusiast sites in general. Just my opinion...so that means it matters not really at all, but...... My much nicer (again my opinion) brand spanking new aftermarket rims with tires were $1200 out the door.
The backspacing, width, and size fill the wheel well much nicer than the stock TC wheels without spacers or adapters. That said, I really like the TC wheels but they are "just" factory wheels....and we are talking used OEM wheels at that. Too many people on this site think these wheels are worth $700...just for the wheels, no tires. That about how much my brand new wheels are. so IMHO if anyone asks more than $500 tops for used TC wheels they are on crack. it should be no more than $800 total with tires. $500 would be wheels taken off the car the first month of owning it brand new and leaving them in the garage ever since. For the average Cobalt TC wheels daily driven in excellent condition $400 tops...another $100 if the tires are brand spanking new or at least 3 months new. $50 to $55 a tire if older than 3 months, or they are the stock tires that have been "sitting unused since you took them off with potential flat spots and/or dry rot starting. (this is how much used tires cost at any used tire shop)
They are used. Regardless of condition they have endured stresses that no longer qualify them as new. I think they look great, but if someone wants more than $800 for the whole combo it's unrealistic. Why? when for $400 more they can have a "selection" of much nicer brand new wheels and tires (again my opinion) and in some cases just $100 more.
It's the down side to buying parts on a select models enthusiast site. The people are so tunnel visioned in their appreciation of the car they bump up prices on desirable parts because they feel it has more value within the community. take those same wheels to a junkyard and they will give you $40 to nothing a wheel and then sell them for $40 to $50 a wheel.
Just remember it's NOT what you think or feel or as a community feels a part is worth. It's only worth what people are willing to pay.
ok, that was my $.02. I am backing away from the milk crate

Just wanted to say that OEM wheels are generally much higher quality than about 90% of the **** thats on the market today. That is all.
Trying out my new DWS tires also this season. Have winter Redline wheels waiting with dead summer tires on them.

I hated my DWS's, with great passion. Snow sucked. Wet sucked. Dry was meh. Don't even think of cornering fast, unless you enjoy the feel of tires rolling over themselves like your gonna flip. But it would appear im only one of a few who didnt like them. My michelins have been great tho and the pirelli pzero's were ok. I'm goin kdw2 next spring, with my blizzaks in the winter

This week is going to be all sunny, just chilling with the temp sitting in the 40's.. hitting 50 on Friday.
Who know's how bad the wind is going to be, if any.
