I have a garage that I need to clean out. Has barn style doors and has a ton of crap that the company that used to work out of this house in it. Think I'm just gonna rent one of those industrial dumpsters and just throw it all out. Mostly boards and paint, and a fridge as well as other misc furniture like an end table
I think the Cobalt generation is getting older and upgrading.
I'm going to be bummed out when all the Cobalt dudes are 18 year old arsehats and 62 year old retirees with grandkids and ricey taste.

I bought my balt a week before I turned 20 as an early birthday present to myself. I was going to buy a nice ws6 trans am but after talking to my insurance company it was going to be 450 a month to insure, more than double of the car payment. then I found the balt and bought it. they're fun and everything but I'm ready to restore an old camaro or trans am. I like working on old cars, I could build a turn key sbc blindfolded.
I'd love to get either a WS6 Trans Am, Saab 9-2X, or 05-06 Pontiac GTO.
I'm rather curious if it's possible to slap a redline body onto a Trans Am frame , I know I've looked into this before but that mostly consisted of tube frames and such.

It would have to to a tube frame. could get upwards of 50k to do it. at that price might as well get a different car. I'm Thinking of picking up a 2gen camaro maybe a 3gen. they're a dime a dozen so I know I can get one in decent shape for under $2500. building the motor is the expensive part. last one I built added up to be $4500 in parts and machine work. Then I decided to put it in my jeep.
300ZX down the street from me, twin turbo auto for $2500. Body in okay condition, 7/10 with a slight bit of rust. Thinking about picking it up. Anyone familiar with these cars, anything I should look out for?
no idea but a quick google search always helps. sounds like a cheap price so I would make sure it runs good and the motor is sound. last thing you want to do is buy something with a spun main bearing and ruin the main caps and crank.
they are a pain to work on. you pretty much have to drop the drivetrain to do anything lol. plus the trans suck in these

I think they were trying to compete with the Honda Civic SI's and the Japanese/German FWD market instead of realising that they would have dominated the market in both and even been able to keep up with the import/muscle car RWD market.
