Nice man ive been working on my 88 Trans Am. Trying to find 4.10 posi rear end to swap in before summer hits but as of right now im doin alot of block sanding.

 

97 camaro^ lol ive got a 3.73 waiting to be installed in mine. I thought 4.10's would be a little too much for street driving to and from the track lol

 

Yea i was between the two but ultimately decided on 4.10. Im sitting with 2.72s right now and it sucks so i figured 4.10s then get my 355 out and build her into a 383. She should throw down some decent times with that setup. Im not really worried about mpg. Thats y i got the balt in the first place lol. And my neighbor is a big drag racing guy with a 2 car enclosed trailer so i can throw mine with his

 

must be nice! ill be on the hunt for a truck/trailer combo to haul our toys around

 

Truck is my next buy for sure. Running a 3.5" lift on 33s on my jeep and the closest set of trails is over an hour away. Try driving over an hour on the freeway goin 60 with loud ass tires and getting 10mpg. Its no fun lol

Id be down. I live in the port huron area so woodward isnt that far of a drive for me. Anyone on here own a black lnf in marysville? I see it all the time but never have a chance to stop and talk to him

 

there are a ton of black balts around. woodward is an hour drive but i made it out friday and saturday

 

Not where i live. I only see that 1 black lnf and saw a black lsj on 94 towards chesterfield

 

Yea i wasn't worried about MPG's, i was more worried about the drone on the highway and cranking along at 3500ish lol. Its mainly a to and from the track car with an occasional romp around. I drag race all the time, and my girlfriend has been racing for 11 years lol. Where's he run at? Good possibility one of us knows him lol

 

His name is mario orlando. Hes an engineer at gm. Hes got a 69 road runner that throws downs high 10s. Ive personally never raced but he goes to milan and a bunch of others. Goes to florida alot to race too. Believe it or not he was actually one of the guys that made the fastest fwd cobalt that set the track record at like 200ish mph

 

Surprisingly neither of us know him lol. We bracket race mainly, sounds like he does nostalgia events or something along those lines

 

Yea im not exactly sure what exactly he races but hes all about it. Big mopar or nocar kinda guy. The perfect mentor for me tho cause he knows everything about my car.

 

well, water pump died on the cobalt Saturday. Finished the camaro sunday to daily drive that and on my way home from the shop it decided it didnt want to live anymore and started knocking like a ****. >__<

 

Ugh two cars down in 48 hrs. I feel for ya

 

that sucks man. at least you tried a backup. i only have my bike right now and you wont catch me on it yet

 

Thanks guys. On the plus side i guess the camaro gets to be a 383 if i need a rotating assembly lol. Cobalt is still just a cobalt lol. Anyone going to woodward tonight?

 

Hell yea man build her up. But no woodward, my mom will not let me drive my car until the recalls done so im in the wrangler for now

 

LMAO, since both my cars are down im actually driving a wrangler sahara. Cleaned it up all nice for woodward, and after 10min the cops showed up >__<

And to add more to my car damage, after spending 3 hours cleaning, wheeling, polishing and waxing the cobalt saturday (right before it took a ****) tonight i get home to see 3 well placed eggs on the side of my car. Wonder what kind of carnage is in store for me this weekend, great start so far.

Couple years ago i used to work at mcds and everyone there was jealous of my car and they hated me because i was an ass hole to everyone lol. Long story short, i just got out of work and i see my car with 4 eggs thrown at my windshield. I never found out who did it
