Hey guys. I've been in Detroit area for over a year now.
I have an LT sedan lowered on FE5 struts/YYZ Springs. I have 17" Monte Titanos wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 rubber. No tint.

These roads are terrible. I can't stand it anymore, I'm getting a new daily driver and I'm moving out of NE Sterling Heights... the roads in this part of Sterling Heights SUCK! Expansion joints turn into ruts, small imperfections turned into craters, and all of them rattle the mess out of me and this car.

Schoenherr Rd between 14 Mile and 16 mile, looks like an old war zone. Hayes Rd between Van Dyke and Romeo Plank... swiss cheese. Mound Rd between 14 and 16 Mile.... might as well be cobblestone road.

Do you feel it as bad as I am in your SS?

Yes the roads suck - but I managed for a year with my '86 IROC (which rode like a truck - one that didn't have springs) back in high school, and my Cobalt since after high school, which has been lowered since 2010 (SSC springs, FE5 struts, and since 2014 - 18" MSRs with Direzza ZIIs). You just learn what roads not to take, and it'll be fine. Keep in mind, I had it up in Flint, lowered, for 2-3 years as well. It's Michigan, as long as you're not drunk, the excuse of "I was avoiding potholes, hence my swerving" is a legit one.

Try driving on coils. Everytime I drive to detroit to catch a game, I have to watch behind me to make sure I'm not leaving pieces of my car behind lul.

Westside isn't the best either. Fsu had some **** roads when I was there.

Not perfect but definitely better than living in detroit. I lived in Auburn Hills last summer and i got around on 17x9s with a 205/40-17 and randy coils. If i can do that then you can get away with pretty much anything.

Yup - just hanging out! Haven't even taken the Cobalt (or the Camaro) off storage insurance yet this year. My brother's '01 Mustang GT (with the ass up in the air for the past week and a half) is currently blocking them both in the garage anyway.

I see you changed your signature literally in the past day!

I know it’s almost a year later lol, but yeah. Actually in the market for a car again and wanted to see how these old forums were doing. Seems pretty much every car forum is dead or dying unfortunately.

I have noticed that as well. Good to see you are still around man. You had the Termi cobra right? As far as car forums, the dodge forums are really busy. The dang ram forum that I am on, is just like CSS back in the day.

Yeah, I had the 04 Black Cobra. If all goes as planned, I will be going to pick up an Oxford White 03 Coupe in a few weeks with under 60k miles. I'm excited to say the least lol.

What are they going for these days? I couldn't find any for sale with the general search that I did a week or so ago.

Last ones I could find still had them 30-40k.... I love those things. Hopefully you can get back in the Cobra. I really like the white ones.

This one might be a good deal.
