Yeah, definitely need to meet up in the summer months and get a bunch of us together. And daytime is a must for pictures sake!

I was thinking, but it would be difficult to do, to have a huge Cobalt/G5/Pursuit meet at Freedom Hill. I was thinking this because I live at 15 mile and Scheonherr and Freedom Hill is at 16 mile and Scheonherr. Maybe we can get in contact with the staff there and ask about renting their property for a huge meet. They have TONS of space (We used it when I worked at a Ford dealership to sell cars once for a big promotion and had about 200-300 cars and still had a bunch of room for more). I figure that it would make it easy for many of our Canadian friends since it is not too far from many of the border crossings. We could also consider inviting other vehicles like Mustangs ( ) and such.

Let me know what you think.

ya dude i was totally like wtf how am i going neck and neck with this guy. and then u missed 3rd gear and i passed you and laughed my ass off. dont worry man everyones got there game day. i wasnt on it either. my 1-2 was horrible on that run. ur friends stang was fast though. was he automatic?

 

yea. he had some REAL nice launches all night. obviously i lost to both of you that first run, but i got him when all 4 of us lined up. i was surprised how well he was launching with that auto. i was VERY surprised in that run where i missed third. i spun thru first, but even so you kept right next to me on the launch which is pretty amazing.

 

i was just watching the 2 vs 2 video and i remembered alst night that cameron changed lanes in the middle of the run, cause i saw it in my mirror, but i didnt know why...i still don't know why, cause there is no car there. why the hell did he change lanes right in front of you?!

That was a really fun night. we have to do it again. Those races were fun. i should have raced the cop tho. jk. we need to have round 2 in spring.

Hopefully ill at least have some more engine and cosmetic stuff by then. im lookin at a AEM brute force itake. and new long tube headers. i think thats all ill be able to afford at that point in time. Cosmetically im hopefully gonna have rear quarter window luvers, and a ducktail spoiler. its gonna be tight. BRING ON THE SPRING

 

ya i dont got that much money to throw around and buy stuff. since im paying for my car its really had a blow on the options and mods i can do. but at least i can say i bought my car whereas all the other richy riches at rice get there nice car from there parents. but you know id like to have my parent pay for my ride, save me the money ive put into it on mods or my education. so far its been a grueling 1500 dollar payment and 150 bucks a month on car payments since july. 6 months x 150$ = 900 bucks. thats 2400 bucks so far. and think about another 750 by may and thats gonna be 3150 and that coulda been my hahn racecraft turbo kit (hopefully it would be done by then) and i would be at 235 whp.

but o well lol

hahaha yea. i only paid for a little less than half of my car, but i guess thats better than not paying at all.
