Official Fall 2008 VA meet thread
Well, its about that time of year to get one final meet in before the colder months set it. Last year we held a meet late August in Dulles, and turned out to be one of the most succesful meets to date. I'm hoping to beat last year's record and go above and beyond with this one.
New Updates!
What: Offical Fall 2008 VA Meet. The final big VA Cobalt get-together before the cold winter months set it and hinder us from having an outdoor meet. Everyone needs to make it out to this one!
When: September 13th (Sat) from 1pm until whenever.
Where: The meet will begin at Apple Blossom Mall in Winchester VA. Arrival time is set for 1pm. We will hang out there for a while until everyone arrives. Everyone, try to make it to the mall by at least 2pm. If need be, we can wait until 2:30pm at the latest. We will then head over to Olive Garden (also in Winchester) for food. Im doubting a reservation will be available for a party our size, but it shouldn't be busy at 2:30 in the afternoon, so im not gonna sweat it. And and always, a cruise and photoshoot will be in order, either before or after we eat....whichever is more conveinient for everyone.

Details are all pending as of now, as this thread is here only to get people's attention so we can get a date and location set.
As far as a time frame goes, im thinking somewhere between late August to mid September. The closer we get to October, likely the colder it will get, so we should act quickly and get something going asap.
I'll start with a head-count.

Alright, so its looking like September is gonna be the better time. Now, where does everyone want this to be? I wanna try to find a place that everyone is willing to drive to, and also somewhere that has the parking capacity for all of our cars. Throw some suggestions out there everyone!

hey josh how bout we change it up a little bit.. A harpers ferry meet in west virginia... Man that place would be no joke some sick ass pictures and some awesome cruises...
also i think they have a hooters pretty close by if im not mistaken
let me know what you think... If people are bitchin out about driving an hour or two that aint **** i used to do that all the time just to go to a car meet out in dc or so forth this is the same distance away from me plus alot better spot to take pictures but just let me know

Max and Keith, both ideas sound good. As always I'm down for wherever, but I can't speak for everyone else. How about after we get a few more ideas tossed around we make a poll and finalize a date?
