Found out my issue.. Ringlands were grenaded in my #4 Piston.. Ordered the Parts today, should have it done soon with my TVS and a Ported Head.. High Five

 

Oh damn get the head off and fix her.

okok side tracking a bit, went to the track for the first time ever today.... first run was against my buddy daves 2006 cobalt lt sedan(he'll be at the meet btw). my rt was .425 and my 1/4 was 16.700 i beat him but this was a **** run, i then ran against a random honda civic hatchback that was talking mad **** about cobalts and dusted his ass with a rt of .543 and 1/4 of 16.409... is this good times for a ls with nothing but an exhaust and a CAI?

yeah, national trails... seems like a good track idk though my first time

 

they dont add on your reaction time unless your in a professional circuit or something. no hard feelings but you can do much better than that. After you see the second light come up, slam the gas!!! dont wait until to see the third light. if you do wiat to see the third light = .5 reaction time

i love the feeling when you first pull up to the line. your heart is pounding while you wait for the other car to stage. ive never red lighted if you start after you see the second light come one. it takes your brain a tenth of a second to react and all that. my reaction time is never more than .1

If I get my **** all back together I'll probably run high 13's to low 14's with 2.5 60 foots and 110+mph traps lol

 

thats nto worth all the money for a tvs though man. 2k invested into the engine just for high traps? i dont see any fun out of it.. if this friday isnt promising, im parting out the tvs, the air fuel meter, and the exhaust.

Also, you can't expect to just invest into a bigger supercharger like the TVS, bolt on and expect amazing 60foots as when you start upgrading superchargers and getting 300+whp you're going to need some Traction Mods and Tires.. Which you do have DR's, so I'm curious to see what you run once you get a re-tune.

tommy quit being a skank itll be faster. get some rotated engine/trans mounts and 79 lbs injectors wideband, tune.

Got my bolts today.. Got it all together.. I have a massive boost leak/leak somewhere.. My guess is the intake mani gasket, gonna grab one tomorrow and throw it on and see what happens.. Rough as **** idle and boost gauge going crazy..

 

yeah sounds like thats the issue.... get a good seal on the vacuum hoses?

is this with the tvs or m62?

i think tommy should invest in a new gasket too.

 

Hoses all look good, but the blower is building the boost, its just not getting into my engine.. Its being overnighted to me, taking it apart and such today and take a look at the gasket that I re-used, its probably junk. I have the TVS on

Tommy needs to invest into getting a Tune and not just a base tune flashed on his car while it wasn't running.. Thats his problem IMO. If he goes up to toms and gets a good tune thatll be a totally different car.
